Thug is definitely one of those artists when if you dive in and just explore his catalogue you will fall in love. Surprisingly he is actually the artist that a few years ago changed me from a close-minded metal head into what i am today.
Great to see him on the channel, keep up the good work.
I had trouble getting his solo work before "One the Rvn" but it is a great introduction. It's one of my favorite albums this year. His music is definitely a acquired taste.

Also, anytime you tell someone "oh you just havent listened to this album/mixtape/project, you'll like them when you hear that" its usually bs. Some people just don't like an artist' body of work. Its not that big of a deal

You guys hit the nail on the head on why I probably enjoy this song a bit more than you, as someone who grew up in hip hop culture, I wasnt as familiar with the source material (like ive heard rocket man but not that much) and the sample is enjoyable to me. If someone sampled a kanye song or like an ice cube song I'd probably be put off as well.
I remember my first run into not just Young Thug, but hiphop as a genre was 'my n*gga' with rich homie quan; I liked rich homie so after that I listened to 'Lifestyle' and fell in love with Young Thug. That was a few years ago, now hiphop makes up 80% of my music lol
