My main load out as engineer in tc2 would be frontier justice heavy metal and eureka effect and I’ve actually won my team the game defending for 10 minutes before
Personally I think the bullet stromer is a bad weapon, mainly cuz of the 35% damage penalty, cuz you gotta land so many shots to kill the enemy and how many shots are you gonna land before they turn around and kill you before you kill them cuz of the dmg penalty?
Go at close range and it’s insane, and getting more ammo after each kill is only more insane. Honestly when I was newer to the game I used it because I couldn’t aim. “Ooo! More pellets = less aim!” And when Brute, Arsonist, and Trooper got to use it, my love for it got better. It’s nice in combination with the stock fists as brute. On trooper, if you equip it with the Aerial Bomber, getting kills with both weapons will actually increase both of their clip sizes at the same time. It’s great on Arsonist too since he’s a close range class already, so he can likely get that extra damage and clip size increase. Not to mention that it’s pretty good as a combo tool.

My personal mechanic loadout is the p.d.q, the heavy metal, and either the rescue ranger or the einsteinium.

The extra projectiles make up for the damage penalty.
