    I am planning on replacing the water pump in my 91 190e 2.6L with i6 cylinder.. Stopping by this video just to help me familiarize with this area, as the water pump is buried beneath all of this. Thanks for the vid

    Thanks mate. I have a '92 M103 260E with 140k on it. Sick of being ripped off by Mercedes Workshop. Goes like a train. Sometimes a bit of a top-end rattle on cold start but doesn't use much oil. I love it.

    How does the dampner come off I hve removed everything on front of engine it will not come off of the spindle what tool or trick all bolts are out except center 1 I do not want to pry and chance cracking anything on motor I'm trying a 3 arm puller but dampner is flexing and not coming off

    Thanks mate much appreciated,,,,Must replace the alternator on mine, so I need to loosen the belt a little bit to get the old alternator out.......How do you get the tension back on the belt.....Just the reverse of what you have done to release it?How much?
    Any special tricks I need to know to replace the alternator?
    Thanks for your videos on the W124, helped me a lot in the past with a couple of things Ive done and I enjoy to watch your videos!!!!!!!!!

      You'll find a kind of dial indicator nearby the adjustment hex extension, it would be about half the way if everything is ok.

    Nice video! I had a problem removing my viscous clutch... Do I need special tools for it... About the fan pulley you took off, how did you do? because my fan pulley is stucked and I cannot remove it! Thanks!

      i do not have the parts manual ,
      one site i use is www.pelicanparts.com and i know for fact they do have international shipping option but I'm not totally happy with them,
