1.1.18: Having known these three factors (mantra 1.1.17), the Upāsaka who invokes the Nāchiketa-fire three times as described above, rejoices in Brahmaloka, having crossed over sorrow and having destroyed all the shackles of death even before (he dies).
1.1.19 Oh Naciketas! This is the Fire (taught) to you, which is a means to the heavens and which you asked through the second boon. People will speak of this Fire as yours only. Oh Naciketas! Choose the third boon.
