I just looked up how long the x6 pro will be supported for. It says 4 years of security updates and 3 major android updates. That’s not bad at all if you buy it now especially for its price. And actually I prefer the poco camera it looks better to me.

I have both. For me poco's camera is better especially selfie cam. Its also slimmer and lighter than a55 so it wont strain your hands. Poco gets warm so easily compared to samsung even browsing only. Battery drains quicker too however 67watts charging compensates. Overall, poco wins for me.

I had both phone. Samsung given for my office and Poco x6 pro for my personal use. Samsung a55 I believe is 420 euro in my country but I bought my Poco at 215 euro. Absolute steal. It makes Samsung a55 belong to a museum.

We currently have Redmi 4x, Redmi Note 8, Redmi Note 8 Pro and Poco F4. Everything works great, no problems. People think very wrong about Xiaomi. Even Poco F4 opens the most powerful games, the heaviest programs with ease. Samsung can compete with Xiaomi only in the flagship segment. In the middle and lower segment, Xiaomi is much better.
Nice, I am a big fan of both brands and had high hopes for the A55, but I figured before I pull the trigger on it, I better go and try it, Good thing I did because it's a large, heavy phone with thick bezels. The other disappointment was the camera. Not only the A55 doesn't have a telephoto lens, it takes mediocre pictures. If I wanted to get a mid range Sammy, I'd go for the A35 instead, which has a better camera IMO. If I was a gamer, which I am not, I'd go for the Poco. It also has a decent camera, plus we already have a Poco M5s and a Poco F4 in the family and love the layout and super fast charging of the Pocos. They are also thin, light weight and come with a case, charger and screen protector. So my vote is with the X6 Pro for sure.

They have different processors, the poco is much more powerful because of its processor but the A55 was not left behind with its excellent performance with the Exenos 1480, I expected more from the poco with that score on Antutu, now compare a Samsung with the same score benchmark, I would still prefer the A55 ❤
Ive never owned a Poco phone . But i have heard they're a great performer and would probably leave the A55 standing in the performance arena , plus this model Poco can be picked up a third cheaper than the A55. Samsung A55 probably has a slightly better OS, better build , better ingress protection ( IP 54 v IP 67) camera wise, i imagine they're pretty equal. The poco seems to have a better display, although the A55 has a significantly higher peak brightness than the advertised 1000 nits ( actual recorded peak brightness of 1600 nits)
The only downside in poco is the OS the hyperOS/MIUI is a very heavy OS with a lot of bloatware and ADS.. that’s what a price you pay in exchange for a performance
The lower price also comes from the GDP rising vs. human rights plicy of the manufacturer country. Unfortunately we not just buy a phone but support questionable ideas, ways.
