A55 for better security and OS update. I dont buy phone base on specs on paper. Also not base on Antutu. Always choose which device will suit your day to day usage and phone that will last long.

IP64 is still good enough unless you plan to swim with it, it has corning Gorrilla victus that is still quite similar and a plastic back that means it won't crack when it falls on it's back, and the updates are only a year difference and everyone can use their phones for many years without updates.

Get your facts straight.
On paper yes, POCO F6 has better specs than the A55 and will perform better in some aspects but a bit behind against the A55 in terms of support, longevity, reliability. Samsung is known for their longterm support for their devices. I still love my A32 and overall my experience is 10/10 and might upgrade soon since I'm itching to try what the market has to offer. In my opinion, POCO F6 if you want performance per PHP, and the A55 if you want longevity/support. Both great.

Poco F6 had an easy win over a55 this time even with photos & videos 👏🥇🏆 3+4 years uodates is enough in my opinion. I tried a55 in a local shop and I didn't like the thickness and huge weight and sharp edges either.
Got the poco 512gb variant for only 17.2k online. I'm sticking with poco because even my poco f1 is still very functional after all these years hehe... that's the thing about phones with great processors, they are a lot more future proof!

I had my Samsung A70 for 4.5 years and gave it to my son. Bought Honor X9b last January then sold it and bought the A55 four days ago. I don't like Magic os. I hate it when notification and quick settings are separate. And first time to use curved display and I hate it.
My reasons for why i bought the Samsung Galaxy A55: - No ads - Brand name (if many people use it, it says a lot to the product) - Camera - UI (it's wonderful and clean) - UX (softwares and features, awesome) - Availability (it's easy to find Samsung service center) - Durability - Privacy and security (can't turn off the phone while it's locked, how cool is that) - Design - Long term usage (5 years update, that's enough time to replace your phone; if we do the math, I invest $31 a month and I would upgrade my phone to a flagship)
In my opinion other Chinese brands that make phones probably have one of the worst UI and software and the app drawer is just horrible compared to the UI of samsung that's why I picked the a55 5g over the f6 even though I'm quite a gamer myself

I always has been, like iphone "Designed by Apple in California Assembled in China.". There is a difference between Chinese product and Chinese manufacturer because China has low labor cost. Would you say skin tones are accurate for both main and selfie? Dynamic range any good? No overblown backgrounds? Blue sky is truly blue? In low light are there no highlights (overblown) when it comes to building lights, store signs? Or would you rather get something else in it's price range?

dude, even if it does have ads, you can disable them all in less than 10 minutes, and for 10 minutes work you get a better phone for the next 4 years, not to mention the added cost you'd give for the case, charger and screen protector that don't come with the a55
You always need to pray before doing a software update on xiaomi phones tho. Bricked my rn10 pro after update and never tried to on my mi 11 lite 5g ne. Tho my old galaxy a52 is doing better than my mi 11 after updates. Torn between a55, f6 pro, mi 13t.

@@navneet. I wouldn't like to guess, but it wouldn't be great. It's not horrendous, it's just average/mediocre but you expect better for 5000 mah. Battery life is the same as my old Poco F4 (4500 mah).

Still wondering why very few reviewer mentioned the battery difference between those 2 phones. Samsung uses Li-on battery Poco uses Li-po. A huge difference in terms of battery aging.
@Pekkuツ Li-po batteries basically deteriorates faster than Li-on batteries. So if you're like me who holds the phone for like 4 years it might affect your next upgrade due to battery issues. Or you can also try to change the battery if you're really in tight budget.
@@Pekkuツ Not quite sure how long their battery lifetime vs Li-on is as my phones are on Li-po and both of my phones are from oppo reno 2 of 2019 and samsung m31 2020 model so its really outdated but the samsung battery is still working without any issue but the oppo reno 2 right now is dying despite battery shows around 75%.

I trust my a55 it may not have the better cpu but atleast the heat dissipation is excellent that means longer life for the device. Also performance is good enough , better software and support and the build quality is great. But both phones sucks at camera, i know because i have previous pixel and it thrashes both😂..
The A55 has better software support, better UI, better customization, better build quality, better battery life NOT CHARGING, and better camera I'm a gamer but the UI on the Poco or other Chinese phones more specifically the app drawer is horrible and other more customization and the only good thing about the Poco is performance but the reason why the Poco has better performance is because the Poco only focuses on performance but the a55 focuses on trying to balance everything and tries to make it perfect so if I were you I would just go for the a55
A55 sucks, poco is 2x more powerful using a snapdragon chipset and is much better than the crappy exynos. SD 8s gen 3 can run games at 120 fps. The a55 is lucky to get 60 fps in most modern games lol. The benchmark results speaks for itself. 5 years of OS support is useless if it can barely run new and modern apps/games coming out in the next year TLDR: poco f6 wipes the floor with the a55
Poco f6 for sure. Aside from the build and software support, poco f6 is superior in every way which is moot when most people use a phone case + tempered glass anyway. For software support, on average people replace their phones by 3 years so the 3 updates is just right, and even if you decide to keep it after that, poco has heavy custom rom support so you can easily flash custom roms.

Everybody use a case for their phones so build quality doesn't matter a lot. When you start using a phone first thing you notice will be the performance.I use A54 for a year and the performance is dissapointing. Exynos was a bad choise. A55 have a little more better camera but F6 has a solid Sony sensor too.
A55 with 4 years of major OS support and with ONE UI which is well optimized. I still dont trust the longevity of chinese phones inspite of their "better specs"

I always prefer Samsung A55 to Poco F6. Reason: Samsung has always think the durability and longivity of its devices. I know people think that they overpriced but for good reasons. Some mobile phones had these overwhelming features but in a lower price. But I'm not so sure if they can stand long enough. It's not worth buying. My Samsung Galaxy J6+ is already 7 years to me and it's fucking okay no battery issue except for its old body.

I'm using my Redmi K40 gaming edition for almost 3 years and Samsung 22 ultra for more than 2 years now. Both phones are still great up to now. It depends to your preferences. My Redmi K40 gaming edtion is for my gaming use and daily driver kung baga pang baragan ko kahit minsan nalalaglag ng anak ko okay na okay pa din siya pero syempre may case yung akin. Mean while my Samsung S22 ultra is feel more premium and mas relaible when it comes to software updates. Both of my phones are updated so far okay naman sila talaga but right now I'm thinking replacing my Redmi K40 with other phones and I'm still undecided if I'm going to choose chinese brand like xiaomi, redmi, poco, realme or Samsung because of what China are doing and bullying our country. Chinese brands had better specs with not much high cost while Samsung had more premium feel and better software updates with premium cost. 😊

i have both xiaomi poco x3 and samsung s22 ultra after 2 yrs my samsung has just died never dropped, no cracks, never bloated, never submerged, didn't even pplay hardcore games on it i even baby'd it put the battery to 80% charge only and eventually still gave me the white screen of death. i bought it for 80kphp and shit only lasted 2 yrs, my poco x3 bought for 12k php still alive from 2021 and it went through rigorous gaming and battery bloat but it still works though not sufficient anymore. Verdict is they both lasted around 2yrs, poco would have outlasted the galaxy if i didn't overuse it, but to be honest i'd rather spend 20k(350USD) every 2 years than 80k(1300USD) for 2 years worth of phone use. I'll be taking a poco F6 as my main please, and downgrading to a samsung A55 from an s22 ultra for my secondary phone. but only because i have lots of memories on samsung cloud i need access to.

I'm sadly done with Samsung, my only brand for 10yrs. The backplate took off with just 1yr+ of usage, then the camera lens cover took off after 2yrs+ of usage. Mind you, I really take good care of my things in general. Because of this, my next phone will hopefully be Poco. I'm now in for practicality than luxury!
The Samsung A55 is priced 25% more than F6 at my place, it's easily F6 for me. I'm satisfied with receiving three major OS updates - around that time the battery life has typically declined enough that it makes sense to upgrade to a new device with even better specs and a fresh battery anyway

is the battery life disastrous? I use chrome a lot, will use its hotspot mostly, youtube, twitter and movies -- I am not into cameras or much of gaming. What do you think, what would be its SOT on this usage?
@@navneet. I wouldn't like to guess, but it wouldn't be great. It's not horrendous, it's just average/mediocre but you expect better for 5000 mah. Battery life is the same as my old Poco F4 (4500 mah).

Still wondering why very few reviewer mentioned the battery difference between those 2 phones. Samsung uses Li-on battery Poco uses Li-po. A huge difference in terms of battery aging.

@Pekkuツ Li-po batteries basically deteriorates faster than Li-on batteries. So if you're like me who holds the phone for like 4 years it might affect your next upgrade due to battery issues. Or you can also try to change the battery if you're really in tight budget.

@@Pekkuツ Not quite sure how long their battery lifetime vs Li-on is as my phones are on Li-po and both of my phones are from oppo reno 2 of 2019 and samsung m31 2020 model so its really outdated but the samsung battery is still working without any issue but the oppo reno 2 right now is dying despite battery shows around 75%.

I trust my a55 it may not have the better cpu but atleast the heat dissipation is excellent that means longer life for the device. Also performance is good enough , better software and support and the build quality is great. But both phones sucks at camera, i know because i have previous pixel and it thrashes both😂..

The A55 has better software support, better UI, better customization, better build quality, better battery life NOT CHARGING, and better camera I'm a gamer but the UI on the Poco or other Chinese phones more specifically the app drawer is horrible and other more customization and the only good thing about the Poco is performance but the reason why the Poco has better performance is because the Poco only focuses on performance but the a55 focuses on trying to balance everything and tries to make it perfect so if I were you I would just go for the a55
A55 sucks, poco is 2x more powerful using a snapdragon chipset and is much better than the crappy exynos. SD 8s gen 3 can run games at 120 fps. The a55 is lucky to get 60 fps in most modern games lol. The benchmark results speaks for itself. 5 years of OS support is useless if it can barely run new and modern apps/games coming out in the next year

Poco f6 for sure. Aside from the build and software support, poco f6 is superior in every way which is moot when most people use a phone case + tempered glass anyway. For software support, on average people replace their phones by 3 years so the 3 updates is just right, and even if you decide to keep it after that, poco has heavy custom rom support so you can easily flash custom roms.
Im a gamer but i choose samsung a55 because its smooth and i dont need a highest graphics when playing😂

Everybody use a case for their phones so build quality doesn't matter a lot. When you start using a phone first thing you notice will be the performance.I use A54 for a year and the performance is dissapointing. Exynos was a bad choise. A55 have a little more better camera but F6 has a solid Sony sensor too.
A55 with 4 years of major OS support and with ONE UI which is well optimized. I still dont trust the longevity of chinese phones inspite of their "better specs"
even if it has 4 years of updates, it is very weak in terms of performance, it will work very hard with a newer android version Exynos 1480 support 4k 60fps, A55 5G stuck 4k 30fps and doesn't have AI Perfomance.

I always prefer Samsung A55 to Poco F6. Reason: Samsung has always think the durability and longivity of its devices. I know people think that they overpriced but for good reasons. Some mobile phones had these overwhelming features but in a lower price. But I'm not so sure if they can stand long enough. It's not worth buying. My Samsung Galaxy J6+ is already 7 years to me and it's fucking okay no battery issue except for its old body.
I don't like the super thick bezel. 🙂 cheaper phones now a days maximize the screen size with less bezel.

I'm using my Redmi K40 gaming edition for almost 3 years and Samsung 22 ultra for more than 2 years now. Both phones are still great up to now. It depends to your preferences. My Redmi K40 gaming edtion is for my gaming use and daily driver kung baga pang baragan ko kahit minsan nalalaglag ng anak ko okay na okay pa din siya pero syempre may case yung akin. Mean while my Samsung S22 ultra is feel more premium and mas relaible when it comes to software updates. Both of my phones are updated so far okay naman sila talaga but right now I'm thinking replacing my Redmi K40 with other phones and I'm still undecided if I'm going to choose chinese brand like xiaomi, redmi, poco, realme or Samsung because of what China are doing and bullying our country. Chinese brands had better specs with not much high cost while Samsung had more premium feel and better software updates with premium cost. 😊

i have both xiaomi poco x3 and samsung s22 ultra after 2 yrs my samsung has just died never dropped, no cracks, never bloated, never submerged, didn't even pplay hardcore games on it i even baby'd it put the battery to 80% charge only and eventually still gave me the white screen of death. i bought it for 80kphp and shit only lasted 2 yrs, my poco x3 bought for 12k php still alive from 2021 and it went through rigorous gaming and battery bloat but it still works though not sufficient anymore. Verdict is they both lasted around 2yrs, poco would have outlasted the galaxy if i didn't overuse it, but to be honest i'd rather spend 20k(350USD) every 2 years than 80k(1300USD) for 2 years worth of phone use. I'll be taking a poco F6 as my main please, and downgrading to a samsung A55 from an s22 ultra for my secondary phone. but only because i have lots of memories on samsung cloud i need access to.

I'm sadly done with Samsung, my only brand for 10yrs. The backplate took off with just 1yr+ of usage, then the camera lens cover took off after 2yrs+ of usage. Mind you, I really take good care of my things in general. Because of this, my next phone will hopefully be Poco. I'm now in for practicality than luxury!

The Samsung A55 is priced 25% more than F6 at my place, it's easily F6 for me. I'm satisfied with receiving three major OS updates - around that time the battery life has typically declined enough that it makes sense to upgrade to a new device with even better specs and a fresh battery anyway
