      You’ve gotta ask about the other guy, why would you send the biggest swivel eyed loon in the field into the wall? It seems to me that Nascar tolerates ramming and spinning out most of the time until somebody RETALIATES, which in the weird, twisted, mental and unreal world of sport, is worse than any original foul. It’s like that in soccer as well and this way of thinking has moved into schools as well because you can’t expect sane thought out of teachers. So if a child retaliates against a bully nowadays, he gets worse punishment than the bully! Thanks sport!

      Dale's not totally innocent. They were going faster than that at Atlanta in 1992 when he completely dumped the front row on the 2nd lap. (Brett Bodine and Rick Mast) Not to mention, all 6 of the drivers who could mathematically walk out of Atlanta the NASCAR Winston Cup Series Champion were right behind it when it started. We can try to say how much worse Kyle Busch is than Dale Earnhardt all we want, but the fact remains that Dale was just as likely to race you clean as he was to wreck you. If you weren't an Earnhardt fan back in the day, you knew him for wrecking your favorite driver, and you booed him for it. Slapshoes recalls him getting booed by his hometown crowd in Charlotte prior to the start of the race. You know you're a villain in NASCAR when your home track crowd boos you.
      Even Jeff Gordon wasn't hated that badly. The California crowds may have had some distaste for him, but I can't recall him getting booed out of Indianapolis Motor Speedway. And Gordon's hate wasn't even bad guy hate either, really; it was more of Earnhardt and Mark Martin fans being jealous.

      Fired from NASCAR would be a little too much. I mean, it's not like Kyle Busch is the first guy to wreck someone on purpose. I mean, look at Dale Earnhardt's colorful track record. If you weren't an Earnhardt fan, you knew him for one thing: being the guy who wrecked your favorite driver. Darrell Waltrip, Rusty Wallace, Jeff Gordon, Terry Labonte, Bill Elliott, the list goes on. How many times did he ever get suspended from NASCAR?
      No defense for Kyle Busch, but he hasn't done anything different from Earnhardt, Rusty Wallace, and a lot of other drivers infamous for wrecking people and running their mouths.

      That being said, I personally don't, but I do think that the penalty he got didn't fit the crime. I felt at the very least, he should've been suspended for the remainder of 2011. The entire 2012 would be too much, but I would have a hard time allowing actions such as Cup Series Regulars coming down to Buschwack/Tailgate the Xfinity Series and/or Truck Series, only to intentionally wreck a Championship contender for that series for a racing incident. I don't blame Kyle Busch for being upset about that, but I also don't condone kamikazeing into a championship contender over that, either. Drive up next to him under caution and give a hand gesture, say something to his crew, or just remember it for later in the race.

NASCAR took immediate action, parking Busch for the remainder of Friday night's event and maintaining the parked position for the Nationwide and Sprint Cup events scheduled for Saturday and Sunday at Texas Motor Speedway. On Monday, the parking directive was lifted by NASCAR

    Tbh he actually deserved this. In 2004 Ron Hornady wrecked Kyle Busch chances of a championship for being slow. 7 years later he ended up repaying the favor. So he didn't do this on purpose, even though wrecking on caution was stupid, he did give him payback so they are even.

    • @PYLrulz1984
      @PYLrulz1984 5 лет назад +1

      No. In the Gordon example you gave, it was an exhibition race, with the added bonus that NASCAR fucked up the start of the race waving the green flag when the rain had started. Other cars were allowed to go to their backups or fix their cars up with no penalty. In this case, it's a points race, the race had already started, and Hornaday was sadly SOL in this case. Busch though did get suspended a race, and lost a sponsorship (Z-Line) because of it. M&M/Mars almost ditched Kyle over this too.
