    I guess stresses were calculated wrongly. Or, did I miss something? It should be like that:
    Stress = E x (strain - strain due to temperature change)
    Stress does not equal to Young Modulus times total strain. Strain due to the temperature change should be subtracted.

    sir,elemental stress calculation part is wrong.once calculate ,values are placed right but u have made mistake in calculator. once check and update.

    sir i had a problem of nodal temperature loads which is solved in ansys but the thing is answers which i obtained from your solving method is not similar to software one...will u please let me know why is it?

    1) Derivation of the transformation matrix for the element axis coordinates to any angle of orientation of the element?
    2) What is numerical integration and Gaussian quadrature in fea?
    3) Write the transformation matrix of a line element rotated at angle tita in ACW?
    4) Explain geometric isotropy.
