I have got so many many ideas from this channel from “prime of midlife” things that to be honest , I would not have thought about before as I am near loads local shops . But when done weekend shopping and put it away I took stock from my preps and was pleased with myself I don’t have to go out to local shops and pay triple for . Get lots of tips as well from prime of midlife , and as daft as it may seem things I would not thought about really before . Love this channel
Read nearly 40 her today in the east of England oh my god it has been horrendous, with worse to come tomorrow. I am lucky not working but I don’t function properly at 25! Take care all tomorrow, hopefully the worst will be over after We’d.😻❤️🙏
pantry is looking pretty good ,keep stocking up though as we all know prices still going up every day. i didnt see too much water in your pantry so dont forget this is the number 1 prep to have....i have about 1100 litres scattered around my home, just because i have the room for it. there are three of us here so it wont go that far when your using it for cooking ,drinking and cleaning. even flushing the toilet might be a problem in the future ,,you never know . great video ,,,,thankyou and stay safe
I purchased a JML chillmax yesterday....it’s great. You can put the filter into the freezer and it blows out icy air. I am using it to keep my dogs cool.... I have shaved the small dog because she has a very think coat.Shes 11 and she was charging around the garden yesterday ...like a pup.
I keep shoving things in one of my cupboards and then it all falls out. I have moved my cat onto fresh food delivered cos she was always being sick so she now has her own freezer drawer and fridge space and now I have more cupboard space. And also a less sick cat. I find I need to organise very couple of weeks. I really need an inventory and to be more organised but I am not naturally tidy so it's very hard for me to keep on top of it. I bought some salad stuff and water for tomorrows lunch/tea. Bought some art supplies as I'm watching my grandchild tomorrow- we won't be out if the heat is too much. I would keep your cat in the house, in particular it's wee paws could get burnt. The preps are great,for myself I struggle with room but do the best with what I have. Just one thing and I'm not sure if I have seen this correctly but re your jam. Do not put jam/marmalade type jars one on top of the other. Now this was something I learned from an American Prepping video. It's something to do with the seal and the weight of the jar on the lid. That is why they don't stack jars on top of each other, they just stack them side by side. The weight of the lid can do something to the seal and the food/jam/marmalade will spoil. I am glad I prepped bought extra etc , with this intense heat which I cannot cope with due to health problems, when I looked I have enough in not to go shopping till weekend . We was warned about this heat and it really is meltdown Monday in London it really is
Well done Maria, I have been in London over the last couple of years in the summer and I am useless in that kind of heat. So glad I am not there this year. Keep yourself cool and revel in the fact that your prepping has saved you the horrors of the heat

I can't imagine you could work from home, if your power is out. Small tip for your preps/ stock up- put all your canned meats together on one shelf, your canned veg, beans and tomatoes on another, then your flours, baking ingredients on another, sauces, oils, condiments together. Get them into categories, and together in rows, at a glance you can then see where your gaps are and it's easy to keep a running tally- i mark the year date on the front for Best Before dates, not that i take them too seriously, but it helps knowing how much of what you have, and for meal planning, for how long🌻
I'll be bringing some damp wash cloths in to work to keep in the fridge. Being in a classroom is going to be 🥵. Really hoping that most of the parents will collect their children after lunch.🤞
