it's our King who gave them a more normal life, they had more privacy with their father and he made deals with the media so they left his sons alone at certain times

The year that Wills took off between high school and college was very very good, as it put him in an environment in which he had to become self reliant whilst living in an extremely poor place with very poor people and he even learned to speak spanish!! He is a very good son, father, husband, brother and will be a wonderful King! He has learned humility,compassion,empathy and discipline, which will serve him well!!

It seems that Prince William is now poised and graceful in front of cameras now. He seems to understand his public duties as a working royal.

he has to be cautious otherwise he will add up to the problem that his parents (and of course his brother) have created along with the other royals. they have enough shame to show off to the people in which they should set as a good example. but human as we are, like us ordinary people they can also make mistakes even how cautious they could be. it is smart for william to be cautious and be reserved enough, in that way he can help his grandmother to run the monarchy smoothly. and not to mention we all know he will be the future king. who would like a future leader that behaves like a brat?

It is so nice to see that Prince William and Harry enjoy being together with their father, doing things. Showing Princess Diana, taking them to all kinds of fun events, and the love she shared and gave them. Getting to see the whole family having a good time. For sure, Prince William and Prince Harry will be fine, though they always will be in that fishbowl. I wonder how they would feel if they are not for a while. When you grow up with it and certainly, it disappears, you'd miss the attention. Maybe I'm wrong, but the extraordinary life they live and are used to is not easy to give up.
I think that lady got it wrong. She said William hated the cameras and got upset, but Harry was thick-skinned and relished the spotlight. That certainly doesn't seem to be the case now.

The best thing the BRF could have done for these children was get them a grief councelor they helped my kids who were 6 ,5,and 4 yrs old they are adults now and lead good lifes with out any issues
Of course but back then it just wasn't normal practice. My sister lost her husband in 2005 and eventually did take her kids to Winstons Wish but back then, it had stigma of failure to cope. Thankfully that stigma has nearly completely gone now

It’s a huge question which people seldom ask: Why did the boys have no trouble with the press when skiing in Europe prior to their parent’s separation?? Why did it suddenly become so much worse?? Could it be due to the fact that their mother, paranoid, dismissed much of her security detail over time because she was “certain” they were spies? Why did she also have to fight so hard with “the scrum” when previously she had never had to do that?? I did a whole lot of reading over the years and even at the time it was obvious that Diana was not just self destructive in many ways, she also reveled in appearing to be a victim so the public would stay on her side. The Queen begged her more than once to keep her security detail for her OWN safety, not simply because she was the mother of two young boys AND of the future King. Odds are she would be alive today if she had heeded the Queen.

As a parent of three, grandmother of two, I think we have to guard against too much negative criticisms! All considering I think the late beautiful inside and out Princess Diana did the very best she could do considering her own toxic dysfunctional family, a product of divorce! She set a great example for them regarding manners and being empathetic to those less fortunate! Today, they both exemplify that! Prince Charles also did the best he could do considering his way more formal stuffy British upbringing and stepped up to the plate after Diana passed away! No parent is perfect so let's give credit where credit is due! Prince William and Catherine are wonderful warm, .loving , supportive parents to their three adorable beautiful children today, her great photos attest to that! With Prince Harry and Meghan's two children that still remains to be seen since they both have backgrounds of great loss and separations, divorce and Meghan has gone through a divorce before. Best of luck to them all. It will be interesting to see how it all plays out!
