I was at a open air concert in Melbourne. It was a night concert. A helicopter landed close to the stage and within 5 minutes Elton walked on stage. No announcement he just walked out. Everyone was talking and not paying attention and he stood looking at the audience with grin waiting to see when he was noticed. Eventually everyone turned and started clapping and he sat at the piano and started(solo show).
Same as that in reverse! We saw him on his *Stately Homes* tour in Essex & within minutes of the show ending there was the whirling of copter blades & he was gone. Probably airborne within 5 minutes of the end of the show.
