Great teaching video! I’m new to owning a pool and I’ve been through many videos and none made priming the pump so crystal clear and simple to do. Thank you for sharing your wisdom.
I've watch 14 videos about priming a pump basket and this is the only one that has mentioned closing the valves!!! Thanks so much!! I was following the other videos and it was just not filling up no matter how many buckets of water or how strong my hose was that was pumping water into the basket.
Very helpful as my pump lost prime after power outage and I was trying to drain spa only that is connected to pool to clean it after storm and pump shows alarm prime failure pump dry.,
Is it normal for each skimmer to have it's own valve or are they usually combined into one valve? Thank you for the video. Very helpful, as I had to re-prime my pump this afternoon due to water levels getting too low.

Happy to help!
Me too!
Me too! I was looking for one like this because I remember my pool guy mentioning the valves but no other video I watched showed them closing them.
This is one of best instructional videos! Thank you

That motor on the right has seen better days 😢
Is it me or is the open close positioning of those valves incorrect?

I’m trying to prime this exact same setup the only difference is the equipment is way above the pool itself so it’s been a pain! Any tips
Multivalve set on closed? waste recirc. backwash ...?
I only have one valve it has main drain on the left skimmer right and off in the middle I assume I just slowly move it to skimmer when I turn it on
