I knew you'd love this one. As I'd mentioned about this performance on a comment on a different video, I love that even in a jazz/blues mode, she still vocally "acts" the dramatic arc of the song. Begins gentle, sultry, and seductive, as if trying to sweetly lull her lover to return, but then with each verse she builds the firmness and urgency, then after the horn break comes that climactic crescendo, and she lets it rip as it then becomes a full-on, commanding plea.
