My 1st 'rockpalast-nacht' on TV, I was 10 and it was fantastic. Big fan of "the jukes" Album, which they were promoting, no one in Germany new the jukes
The rhythm guitarist at this time was Joel Gramolini (1978 - 1981) plus or minus a few months either way. He performs today under the name Joel Cage and lives here in the state of New Hampshire, about an hour from where I live. We have been buds for over 25 years and he really is an amazing guitarist and a great guy. We spent literally hundreds of nights hanging out between sets, and before and after gigs talking about raising our boys, our gals, and everything that life was offering us at the time. He is still with the same one he was with back when we met around 1995 - 96. I'm not, but my new wife loves him just as much as my old one did. He loves fans so please reach out and say hi if you wish. Tell him his buddy Den responded to a post you made about the Rockpalast TV gig in '79 in Germany ?, he will get a big kick out of that. --- Dennis in NH. ( joelcage.com, facebook and youtube )

Thank you for preservation
Love this song can’t get it out of my repertoire
Such and upgraded sound
Johnny sure can work those horns greater artistic talent so underrated
The original Southside Johnny & The Asbury Jukes, it wasn’t a band, but a small entourage. The 5 piece horn section from the earlier years.
Omg this is fantastic
Ssj is the missing link in sound
Verses material world
The eighties did not deserve this band.
You are the real kiss
Apparently guitars had some work to do
