Ballachulish Bridge - Loch Leven / The Dragon's Tooth - Glenachulish (Scotland) 4K

The Ballachulish Bridge opened in 1975 and crosses the narrows joining Loch Linnhe and Loch Leven. The main route between Glasgow and Inverness (A82) crosses the bridge. My grandfather worked on the construction of the bridge.

Crossed when it was a ferry going to the youth hostels on my bike giving away my age

My husband and our daughter and I crossed on the ferry then too. So long ago. We visited a few times a year throughout the years. Our second home. when my husband passed away we took him there and scattered his ashes on the burial island.
