I’ve made quite a few steel rocket stoves and now I’m almost done with a Stainless 304L fully welded and loving it, no paint, no rust and sooo light weight; it is worth paying the xtra for the privilege of owning one 🔥
As I used to joke about "This Old House" and "New Yankee Workshop", with a few hundred thousands of shop equipment, you too can build this $100 rocket stove. PS: If you don't have time to do it right the first time, then when will you have the time to do it right. Given that he has a few hundred dollars of Ti for that stove, he should do it right the first time. PPS: I just bought a piece of Ti to practice with I have decided to build a box that I can purge with Ar so that I can do my welds properly.
10:57 Your chimney diameter is way too small compared to the feed tube, plus you have another hole in the back of the stove which is not necessary. That is why your fire burns backwards, if you close that opening in the back it will burn a lot better. Other than that cool
Or you can build a tent and flood it with Argon. Then you go in with an airline that exhausts to outside of your tent. This is how the Russians built the hulls for their ballistic missile submarines. . PS: I recommend wearing a glove on your left hand so that it doesn't get sunburned. (Don't ask me how I know! 🙂 )

I am not a high-quality welder.
Question :
Could you weld small titanium projects in a cabinet like a sandblaster cabinet?
Are you meaning like making it into a purge chamber? If so possibly I’ve never thought of that
Yes. The Russians used the same idea except on a larger scale for building the titanium hulls for the nuclear ballistic missile submarines.

I was trying to make it look like a rocket 😁

Have you ever heard worse audio on a youtube video? If you are not going to weld correctly than why do it at all?
this welder needs to go back to school for a few lessons
