I absolutely detest it when politicians won't answer simple questions.
It's a terrible look. In one breath she claims the book is about difficult times in her life, but then with the next breath she refuses to take ownership of the falsehood that was in the book. If she simply admitted she never met with the Korean leader and said it was her mistake that it got in there it would have been much better.
+1 … robotically answer the question you wanted, not the one that was asked 😆 somehow, this is acceptable.
Even worse is when the person interviewing them just lets them skate by. Any normal person would have said "stop avoiding the question. Did you or did you not meet with Kim Jong Un, and if not, how did this passage get into the book?"
It shows more than anything that news hosts and interviewers are just paid actors that roll with whatever the script is with no pushback whatsoever when they have to do something clearly morally corrupt.

Having to put down a dangerous red zone dog or some other troublesome livestock isn't anything new for ranchers so that's not really the issue. But for someone looking to take their political career to the next level, mentioning it multiple times in their book in a braggadocios manner is downright bizarre. If she thought this sort of edgy, tough girl image would get her in good with Trump and MAGA Americans she thought wrong.

This show and some of the comments show that conservatives are able to excercise judgement, moral clarity and independent thinking skills even when it comes to their own party. That is why a conservative leader would be good for the entire nation, not just republicans.
