I like the setup of the area, open field area with no objects to hit, at least it helps when they lose control and not run into stuff head on. Great video coverage, one of the best racing contents I have seen, subscribed.

Great video! I have to say though, that GTR REALLY looks like he took a great hit. If you know the GTR's and the way their trans work you know they are awful to tree. Just because he was off the brake does not mean he was moving. Even when you .25x it still looks like he cut the tree down. In my opinion, that would of been a great R/T on a beam (I know there is no beam in street). If someone showed me that while I was up against him I would have a hard time sleeping arguing he jumped, I would of taken the the loss but what do I know. Keep up the videos they are great to watch.
Not to make light of the situation but when those guy drove past on the buggy with the one guy standing on the back and holding onto the rollcage it looked like a scene from mad max thunder road 😂

GTR not impressive. Must be nice to have the advantage of AWD and have traction from start to finish. RWD is harder to do. Two accidents to back it up.Btw, how do you like your AMERICAN built Turbo 400. Overpriced as hell to begin with.

An while I'm at it. The ugly rx 7 is 1500 pounds lighter than every car it raced. Blasphemy installing a badass American motor in the pos. But only way you can go fast.

Anybody know how fast those guys mph …. I’ve notice a lot promoters making classes for true street cars that don’t alllow funny car cages … which I think is absolutely stupid…. You should as a promoter always encourage safety!!! Funny car cage don’t make you faster …..
Average mph for this crowd was 130-150mph on water only.

Small tire gotta stop acting so scary and get whooped by awd or beat them lol. I hate to see awd in big tire, should be optional like wrd small tire in big tire.
I’m confident the outcome wouldn’t have been any different even if AWD was allowed in small tire, these guys got cheat codes 😬
@@BadNewsMotorsports exactly 😂. If certain small tire cars show up, you might know who wins anyway lol. On certain surfaces thats really good a big tire car dragging everything. I want them to stop throwing awd in big tire and left them run small tire. They have more weight usually and are actually streetable for some. If they could they would have banned tesla's for certain cars losing to them. It would be a bigger field. Let them race big tire if they choose like small tire.
Great video content but…someone’s gonna get killed here, whether racing or the guy hanging on the back of the sxs running down to see if the cars rolling got a dead guy in them. I can’t see this venue continuing. Why not find a place far enough out to build a legit 1/4 mike track and get some,of the cities to help fund it?
When you've got the $20 million to fund and operate a track out here let us know, We'd love to come film there!
@@BadNewsMotorsports oh I don’t and as one who used firebird and then wild horse ALOT, I’m really disappointed it’s gone away even though I don’t live down there any longer. But you know darn well that should someone get badly hurt or killed someone is gonna get an attorney and throw lawsuits at everyone.
Just seems if you and others could get the right folks to start pushing the right buttons MAYBE you could get a few cities to help pony up the dough to build a place far enough out it could be used for 20-30 years.

The old dragstrip on the way to wickenburg never really had developments built up around it so not sure why they closed it.
It would be nice to have a 1/4 mile track within 50 miles of Phx for folks to race.

Yeah let's just leave this parked here there's no way the could even make it to it to hit it that was pretty dumb imagine the car unsetting and kick to the right at high speed and that's the first thing u hit thats not going to be good
No Prep racing is dangerous regardless, just the way it is.
But I feel in that situation, I’d be much more worried about hitting the ditch than the Camaro behind it.

Great video! AWD needs its own class tho.
I actually tend to agree, so far haven't seen an AWD car win the AWD class. But the racers seem to love it, so thats all that matters.

@@BadNewsMotorsports here in NC I've seen it a couple times. A guy has a I'm guessing 72 k5 turned into a racer. It was black and silver. I have never seen another one. This was probably 5 years ago at shadyside drag strip
