Alex that information about the parking meters was fantastic, so easy to use. I would rather walk around Palma than get any transport because I love getting lost in the back streets. Great video. Thanks Alex.
Sorry this is nothing to do with this video, but I wanted to share something with regards to all the hype about the anti tourism protests. I've just got home from a week in Menorca (not Mallorca, but the media has us believe Menorca was also moaning). We spent time in resort, we went to popular calas frequented by locals, we went into the city. We rode buses and visited bars and restaurants and shops right across the spectrum from uber touristy to proper local. We didn't pick up any hint of animosity at all. Everyone we had any kind of interaction with was lovely. Not just people working in bars who saw us as customers, everyone. I looked out for anti tourism graffiti. The only thing I saw was a poster about massification. I listened out too. Not even a hint of anything negative towards Brits or anyone else.
Uncle Dave Alex from Kevin Irene and Aaron from Manchester we just looking at your video Palma fantastic plays for the only thing is when we went it was a bank holiday for the local people the structure on the Cathedral is beautiful thanks again for the video have a great day from the City of Manchester from Irene Kevin and Aaron😊😊😊
Alex you are a gem. Lots of great information first class. I’ve been going to Mallorca since I was 19 and I always learn something new from your vlogs 🏴🌈❤️ I shall be taking my family there next July be great to bump into you as my kids watch your channel as they love Palma Nova beach xx great vlog will visit Palma and look deeper into the back streets 🏴🌈❤️
the sight seeing bus is a great idea if you don’t fancy trudging endlessly through the city ( which is big!) or are not bothered shopping . ( Pensioners pay half price ) and you really get to see a lot, incl. the monastery and the old castle .
Thanks Alex! Just wanted to ask....perhaps I'm confused 🙈 I watched your video about Palma becoming the center for partying etc so we were going to stay away! But this video looks stunning....is it the same area? We're visiting in October. Thank you x
Palma de Mallorca is the capital (check my other content from here). Palmanova is the resort and while it has been busy this summer, it’s nothing like Benidorm. Really nice atmosphere here - check my evening videos
Thank you. I have parked at Plaza Espania before and parking was like Euro 25+....plus it did not likw my US issued cards - so it was all cash. Btw, I am thinking about getting a prepaid Spanish Debit card for these minor inconveniences - if these things are actually available.
Hey Alex, do those parking meters still accept pesatas. I also recommend you going to popeyes for a great lunch. You looked hot in Palma today. Any chance of a livestream from there this Saturday..I'll pay your parking ticket . Honest .🤩
It's new, but I did reuse some b-roll (the overlay clips, so the cathedral et - it was 38 degrees, and I struggled filming this let alone walking down to the main sites...but the sites wasn't what the video was about)
such a beautiful place. the weather is amazing.
next week, it will be my first time Mallorca... so, thx for the great infos!
Was there today Alex - such a lovely city to visit🥰
Fantastic !

Thanks Diane - absolutely - getting lost is the best bit !
Great information Alex. I'll be there on Tuesday week. Bus from Puerto Pollensa. Quick and easy. Best wishes, John

That was a super useful video. You must have been a very busy bee before you went on holiday.
Thanks Faith - mighty busy. I have to make hay while the sun shines in the Summer as the channel starts to flag in the Autumn.
You’re fabulous Alex, great info. I’ve just booked to go to Palma Nova next year in October. Can’t wait x

You now have to enter your license number so you won't share your left over parking time
Yes, that's why it's needed. Good point!

When I filmed this it was crazy hot!! And lolll not sure about the pesetas but my friend lives near popeyes and she only went once 😂
Is this a new video? Thought I had seen it before.

Visitamos Puerto Pollensa en Septiembre, te comprare una bebida si estas alli
Gracias - seguramente estaré en PP durante el mes de septiembre 🙏🏼
I’m there right now what is the best place to go to there
Check my itinerary for a day trip to Palma
And what are the best cheapest shops
For what?
Where do we pick up the open top bus?
By the Cathedral by the S’hort gardens and Parc de la Mar
At the bus station!!😂
