People seems to not know this, but GT Academy was Sony and Nissan program, based in Gran Turismo, to find and promote gamers to become real race drivers. And it succeded. Some of them pretty nice careers, starting even in Le Mans. Like Lucas Ordonez, winner of the first edition and main hero of this film, Jann Mardenbourogh. He started in japanese Super GT and it's most powerful GT racing series in the world. Unfortunately, that didn't last because all of them are now finished, at least in those big series, maybe some of them are competing in the lower levels. But yeah, for some years couple of those guys really did well in GT races and Nissan program in Le Mans, even if that was a failure - but still an oportunity for them.
And one based on super smash brothers brawl one wii be awesome and GTA a good not those and call of DUTy and resistance fall of man and TAKKEN would be cool 😎 too
Damm that movie actually looks good I recently started playing grand turismo 7 And it was awesome and when I heard the movie version of the series is happening I’m actually hyped

I thought it was a crazy idea for a movie, considering GT is strictly racing and no story. So, I had low hopes for it, especially since they only took 7 weeks to film. I don't know how they can make a good movie in such a short time. But the trailer looks a lot better than expected.

Gran Tourismo is the first racing game my dad bought me to play on PS1. Absolutely loved that game.. so this movie is going to be special for me ❤️ I lost my dad in 2018. Abbu, thanks for introducing me to this masterpiece of gaming ❤

These guys really aren't elite athletes. A famous racer even stated "you have to be somewhat in shape" in order to race which tells you everything you need to know. Respect to the skill itself though.

I see it at least making its money back with a reasonable profit, looks worth a watch for sure ... And giving GT a decent sales boost in the process! So win-win for the producers!

This movie is based on my favourite Racing Game of all time Gran Turismo will always have a space on my Heart and it looks like they also implemented Lewis Hamilton story in the movie I will see it, I can't wait for August.

Gran Turismo is an excellent movie! Seriously, the characters are amazing and I really like the little details about the personality of some of the characters, take a break and go watch the movie.
