@@rockymountainchainsaw Looks like you're sawing some mighty fine yellow Locust. You talk about hard to come by nowadays. Locust is all but non extant.
Just bought a 585 2 weeks ago. Luckily my local dealer had a couple in the warehouse tucked away. I bought a 32 and 36 bar for mine. Want to do some sawmilling.
That demonstration was laughable....first, get somebody who actually spends time on a saw and knows how to run one. Secondly, learn how to sharpen a chain.
The stihl fanboys don’t no what a real saw is, I used to be a sthil guy until I tried my first husky out and it amazed me , and that’s been 26 or 27 years ago and I’ve owned nothing but husky’s sence
Idk I’d throw a pipe on my saw but one that small an just gets I some better flow . those big tuned pipes just seems to turn your saw into cookie cutter instead of tool u can use imo.
Those big pipes you on those cookie cutting saws(race saws) are on extremely built saws. That pipe on the 592 was built for a stock saw( nothing done to them at all). These CPI pipes are the most efficient bolt hp in some cases 50%+ in gains. So if you want a cookie cutting saw then build one and call CPI and have a one of the kind pipe made.
@@JohnnyButtercuts dyno Joe has the numbers He put one one of the pipes and did some runs and the numbers he got was like 54%ish gain. It might be a little more I can’t remember. But yes 40-50% gains have been the average.
I hear really great things about the little mechanic shop. He’s my favorite youtuber
Guy knows his shit ....camera shy 🤭
Same here!
I want a 592 pipe so bad. Those are some sweet saws! Awesome video!

Bottom line is... you really only need one saw LOL
That's like only having one girlfriend, it doesn't hurt to have several. You have some to fall back on,.if one goes on the rag.

They’re fun to run and impress your buddies, but impractical in real world use.
