I weld both sides and often add more braces
Prime and paint deck also
If I’m planning on keeping it or to family it’s drilled and tap for zert and new brgings with inside covers removed, then greased good

Unbalanced blade will crack a deck every where and damage spindle brging fast
Biggest problem I find on decks 😊

It’s just like a John Deere X100 series, but with better paint, the Deeres have awful paintwork
