@yotricks I’m having trouble with the gt. When I unwind the string and drop the thumb no gt yoyo just falls. I’m missing a twist somewhere but can’t figure it out. Any advise?

I’m having a bit of trouble with the beginning of the trick with the quantum slack any tips you could give me? I just keep ending up in a double or nothing
Most likely that means you are allowing the slack to go over the wrist of your opposite hand. There are two solutions. You can either drop the slack off your wrist, which will get you into the correct mount, or you can make sure the slack does not go over your wrist as you do the initial motion.
Took me a while to get it too. As YT suggests above, try slipping it off your non throw hand finger through the back string when you land in the double or nothing and you’ll get a feeling of where you need to land the slack. Around the sting rather than your finger/hand. Once I worked out how the mount felt I could land it most times after.
how small is jake and how long is that string? I am 190 cm tall, and I am playing with a reaaaally long string, and I still can't do the trick properly, because I ran out of string

There is no set length, whatever you like. This trick may be easier with a longer string, however.

You need an unresponsive yoyo, yes.
