“How could you leave us” and “Mansion” are some of the most important songs to listen to to understand him better.

So many references to past videos, but mainly you need to listen to Mansion to understand when he’s pushed by his dark self

at the end the dark side of him (fear, regret, etc) is trying to stop him from understanding why 30 years has been so bad and then from his hope taking control. the 3 things fear says there is "hey.... nate.... wait."
other tidbits are - he says 30 years of _______, 30 different times. The first room he enters is his room of regrets from his first song mansion. all the balloons represent different regrets/traumas which he doesn't wanna deal with. The 2nd room is his future self from the song "let you down" and he realizes that he's holding the keys to letting himself out of his self made prison that he's in (also from his song "outcast")
that's just the tip of the iceberg. there's like 20 different references throughout the song too.
I HIGHLY RECOMMEND these songs. At the very least, the ones with * next to them are must listens

Again I will say NF music is like a movie series, if you haven’t seen the first season you might not fully grasp what is going on in season 2 and 3.
You have to listen to Mansion. That was the song playing when he fell through the floor and from his first album.
Listen to Remember This. It’s one of the songs NF has that you don’t have to be in any order to listen to. It’s full of so many facts about life in general. It is a great song that most NF fans love.
"How could you leave us" and "Clouds" should definitely be next on your list.
Also "Motto" is probably his most fun, upbeat song. All 3 have brilliant music videos.

🎶 This is for anyone new who may want to take the NF journey as we call it because he intertwines his music like marvel movies. All of his albums are like a connected series.
He also hides eggs in his videos which he co-directs and co-produces.
For example in his “When I Grow Up” song there were four hidden eggs in that song: 1. A black balloon by the trash cans (black balloon represents his burdens per search single) 2 In the burger joint he grabbed at receipt that had the date and time of when his song time was being released. 3. He had outcast written on his name tag in the janitor scene which references his Outcast song. 4. He had his moments album CD in car scene
Another example is in the search song he had cage in background he rapped in from his outcast song. Search single also connects to Hope. In Hope he has the “map to hope”.
The black smile you will see painted on his mouth is explained in his therapy session song.

Forgot for reaction video purposes- you guys really need to listen to his Mansion album , Therapy Session and his Perception album. He talks about some real ass shit, and goes so hard while doing it with some crazy ass instrumental completing the experience.
Yall really should just do the journey to fully understand and get everything it all blends and just the way yalls mind is gonna blow when you start from the beginning it's all interconnected
