Mayesh Design Star: Monochromatic Arrangements

I didn't like yellow when I was younger, and a lady at a garden center told me I would as I got older because when eyesight starts to fade, you appreciate the bright color. She was right! Now ILOVE yellows, especially mixing various shades of yellow. I love this yellow arrangement.

I tried carefully reflexing the petals from a bouquet of grocery store roses and they kept cracking/splitting the petals - is there a trick to it, or did I just get too firm of roses? Help!
