    Fair play for not giving up with the one handed battery connection, loved it. Ladies he can also undo your bras one handed 😉

    My guess is stripped spur, took me roughly a year to do that lol.. ive only ever stuck with the plastic as they arround 5 quid.
    Im guessing you may have landed on power or possibly the bearings either side may be on the way out.

      Hi Gaz - Weird one this. The plastic has stripped but only the tips of the teeth. As if the mesh was very loose. Took it apart. Took spurs out. Went to rebuild without the spur fitted - but the motor mount screw (front to back) wouldn’t locate with the hole in the plastic gear cover. It’s like the impact shifted the motor over. Widening the mesh. Anyway. Took it all out. Cleared the stones under mount. Redid the pin mesh. Put it back together and now the screw locates perfectly. How the screw hasn’t damaged the plastic I’m not sure? As when I removed it it appeared fine. Maybe the whole thing has shifted. Motor mount still looks straight. Perhaps grit got under when it landed and flexed which stopped it locating correctly once it straightened out. Who knows!! 😅

      @SnoriRC that's a weird one that's for sure🤷‍♂️
      I know the screw that goes through the motor mount and into the gear cover is very important as it stops alot of flexing. Double check the bearings on either side of the spur shaft as traxxas ones ain't the best.
      Hopefully you've sorted the problem.
      I've gone through roughly 5/6 plastic spurs in around 4years which at 5 pound a pop ain't too bad.

    Stripped with the 120C extra power more than likely 😂

    you can easiely fit a 8500 mah battery in there - gens ace 8500 mah 60C thats what i use in my widemaxx :) All with the normal traxxas tray you just need a xt90 to trx adapter

    That thing rips on that ground. What did you call it TSM? What’s that like a giro?

      Helps keep car straight when going along. You can add more or less TSM depending on conditions you’re running on.

    So your C rating is like how much power you can draw off the battery and maintain without getting a volt drop. So more instant juice and for longer periods. You really notice this difference when speed running. So the Arrma cars are very dependant on a high C rating and perform better with higher. The MT8 I had no difference speed running it, same speed but Arrma Typhon gave 3 mph more.

      I know what it’s supposed to mean and do - but sometimes I think its importance is wildly exaggerated. Especially on a wonky old basher jumping off a sand ramp in Derbyshire. 😅

      @@SnoriRC I agree it is seriously over rated. Most my batteries are 50C and they kick ass. More than enough for quad flips and triples for days. What more do you need from a battery.
      You could argue the extra weight in a 100 or 120C battery can cause more damage with a bad landing 😉

      @@JPBashed Absolutely and the weight likely offsets any gains in acceleration etc etc. not to mention extra wear and tear on every single component due to weight.
