Digging up a dry well for no reason

- Digging up a dry well (an underground structure that disposes of unwanted water). Where the water had been flowing out of the ground to look for a broken pipe. Once it was dug up we realized the whole ground was saturated with water, due to a water filter that had been sending water to the well constantly for a couple weeks. Than filling it back in.
This homeowner must have you on speed dial, you've made a few videos at his property. This guy knows how good you are, he is always out helping and gets to see everything. Great job!
cant believe people think Andrew would need to call a tow truck, they must be new subs.
Anthony Carroll he would have to have buried all his trucks and all his equipment in the mud and broken all his winches and he would still go buy a used helicopter, fix it up and lift the truck out of the mud before he would call a tow truck hahaha
Bryant lol. Andrew is one talented young man.
@John barfneck every bucket I have made has a hitch built into it just for that reason. My fab shop thinks it's crazy but it has saved me thousands over the years
not atow truck but his BIG Dump truck will do nicely...!
Friends with tractors...
Andrew my son and I watch your channel all the time, you have been a great inspiration for him to get into your line of work.We are from Michigan he is 8 years old. Thanks for being my sons inspiration and keep up the good work and awesome channel!
That's one hell of a compliment but well deserved!
Totally agree.
Matt from what part of Michigan

My 2 yr old grandson says pawpaw watch tractors . We spend quality time watching Andrew .
"Do you want me to dig here?" "No, a inch to the left"
Ok, now an inch to the right.
Yeah, right where Andrew was digging when he started.
Yeah the guy was nice but I could not work with someone watching over my shoulder trying to tell me what to do when they aren't the professional... Id of stopped the machine and been like listen dude I know what Im doing, kick rocks. Hence why Im poor lol
@@riverrat8693 I'm pretty sure that's his dad
@@dragunW4RZ nvm then lol. I hope he does a video about is personal life that would be awesome 👌
You knew this job was gonna be screwy...when the home owner shows up with knee pads on
🤪😂🤪😂
That just means that man knows how to party lol...
Super Trooper 😂😂😂
LOL
thats a home owner who cares and will pay well for a good job...
PPE is a serious game gents 😜
That guy is really, REALLY good at pointing.
He's been practicing his whole life
Thank you for pointing that out
And this is the point you want to remember to add a handful of metal to the center of the structure so you can find it in the future with a metal detector rather then having to blind dig. Steel bb's make a great way to track pipes when you spread some at each joint in the pipe.
Nope duck tape 4 or 5 quarters tightly to the top side of the pipe at certain spots. Quarters ring up really really high in tone on a metal detector which makes them easier to find in possibly crowded ground. (I am a detectorist btw)
I watched gas line guys put a wire down with there plastic pipe for the detector.
Clever
I use old brake rotors. No problem finding them!! hahahaha
They "ring up really high". LOL
@@tuckera1879 Might as well throw down some pull tabs instead. Those ring up the best :D
Cracy power of the new dump truck ! Great video again! Thank you for shareing it with us!
Mass = traction.
Grip = traction whatever the others conditions.
Even a heavy vehicle can loose traction easily : sand, gravels, fuel on wet road,or just dry tires.
For sure ,mass helps a lot most of the time lol
Christian Drope Where fid it even come from😂
when one truck is stuck, get a bigger one to pull it out... always works lol
Gotta love the customers that think they know more about your profession than u do.Not to mention looking over your shoulder .Good luck
I'm absolutely fascinated by your life journey, your work ethic and your never say die attitude brother. Your videos are also at once strangely ralxing to watch. Thank you
If only there were more people like you, Andrew, then other contractors would have to sit up and take notice that you are the type of person who WILL work on a small job, and get it done no matter what.
I truly admire your work and that you will do what you promise to get done.
Well done !
this dude does not sleep.
niether do I
lol
gregstiles Hes an excellent provider for his family. That’s what it takes.
Exactly what i was thinking the guys a machine.
@pete smyth the man freaking built himself a castle while running his own business soo... still a machine
You have the ultimate in patience, me I hate nervous Nelly micromanaging, paper pushing etc looking over my shoulder pretending they know it all....yup! My wife!ugh!!
So, you pretty much just moved a plant in this video, lol.... and had some fun getting into mud. Great video!
Remember to give the plant some water after placing it back.
Bumped into one of your videos a couple of days ago, since than every day I watch 1 or more of your videos, beside the nice and happy dog, skill, dedication, painting pickup truck 😂 I noticed that this ford truck gets stuck on 50% of jobs at least. 😁
Same here in the Netherlands, kind of binge wathing over here
Even when NOTHING happens, there is still an epic drone shot at the end! Love it
You've done lots of work for that guy. I think he like hanging around with ya. He's all into it.
Thanks for the video Andrew. Snow will be here soon, hope you got all your cold weather equipment ready.
Your skills with an excavator are amazing. Watching you perfectly scoop and transplant that grass perfectly, you make it look easy.
Great video again, Thank you for sharing .
I just drove thru Andrews area yesterday coming home from travel for work. I was looking for his truck on the road. Long shot I know..
@mattabrute ----- Next time look UP -- For the drone.
Andrew, Always an interesting video, Thank you !!
and a very somber voice.... he makes me relax. he has changed my life. i'm not beating my wife and kids anymore!! keep making videos or else... (lol)

Dude I am a big fan of your videos! Really admire your creativity and resourcefulness!
You've inspired me to tackle a couple of jobs around our house that I normally would not. Even rented a skid steer! You should a got a commission on it. Lol!
Keep it up Brother!
Thanks
Oh, jeez, it's kneepad guy again. Once again, Andrew is the epitome of patience...
medic2807 He’s a great business man!
You were exceedingly gentle with the ornamental grass plant both taking and replacing it. Andrew, I like how you end many of your project videos with the rising drone shot - suggesting the ascent of man apprehending the larger picture. Each job is part of the whole.
wherever this was filmed was so beautiful! that drone shot at the end.
Yep an eight out of 10 other contractors would’ve sold him the new system or a bigger system or something it’s good to have honest people and business good job ANDREW
Why doesn’t this comment have thousands of likes?!
The owner was bit nervous, thx for sharing👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻❤️❤️💕💕💕
Been raining for weeks, water has no place to go... Thanks Andrew for the vids....
Andrew has done a ton of work for this guy!
Your Dad is a GEM, Andrew! Your Dad says, "What are your thoughts?" WOW, not many parents solicit advice from their children. But, again, he knows this is your line work for your company.
@@bottomlands 😂
All of his videos are good, I'd rather watch him over and over than the stuff you see on TV anymore
Wish I could find whatever it is that drives people, I need some of that. Drew, you inspire so many to do things they never thought they could do. Cheers mate.
Nice drone shots of country side, always like those and good violin music. thanks for the video.
Was watching the pickup , trying to pull the dump out....then WOW, International shows up....you could feel the power ! You driving the International and Levi driving the dump. lol Great video Andrew as always
My neighbor asked me to pull out his tractor. I say no. Your tractor is twice the size of mine and we don't need two stuck. He hired a backhoe to get him out and of course the guy says "oh, it came out pretty easy!"
spudth A banker would say, don’t pull it out, you’ll loose interest % 😂😂
Yes another great training video priceless thanks for sharing your work
I find the fast forward sequences FAR more satisfying than i probably should lol.
Digging up a well for no reason, lmao 😂
I love this dude, this is the kind of shit me and my friends would do 👍🏼 (for no reason)
I don't see new dump truck that much. Andrew, if I didn't know better your saving the new dump truck for parades or something because it still looks new. It has not been put to the ordinary pace of Camarata Land Maintenance. I know it's time is coming. Keep on!
Its been in some videos.
In NC we plant Canna lily for surface water saturation problems. They tolerate dry conditions well, and during wet conditions will grow to 8' tall (perhaps more) depending on how wet the soil is, and they will soak up the extra water by continuous growth. Easy to cut down too if you get tired of looking at them. Here, we don't have to protect them from the mild winters, might not be practical up north.
I just recently found you and have only watched about 10 videos. They are all highly watchable.
Thanks. I've been at this for years, so there is a decent amount of videos to watch.
Always interesting videos Andrew I must say you live in a beautiful part of of the country
Buy a 70000 lb rated kinetic strap. They work great for stuff like that.
you need me to dig here lol i watch for the laughs
That scenery is really amazing. Thank you for the video.
Hi Andrew. I have been watching your videos with much amassment on you’re operating skills and your mechanical ability. I worked in Rockland County New York for the Highway Department where I was a heavy equipment operator. ( MEO3 ) . I was there foe 35 years. I have on question . We had many types of dump trucks, for 6 yards to 20yds. We had snow and mud tread on all our trucks. We almost never got stuck in the mud. I noticed you have that problem often in the wet and mud season. Maybe you should consider this. Each time you get stuck it puts a hell of a lot of stress on the equipment, not to mention you. Good luck young man . I’ll continue to watch wit interest. Frank Millett
Well don't feel bad about not using the cornbinder much, she was your angel from heaven and hero of the day so that's cool. It's nice to have heavier iron around when you need it :)
The International was like truck, what truck?
Hey Andrew, I love that little excavator! I’d love to have one of my own, I couldn’t have one because after I fell in Love with it I would probably dig my whole yard up! lol I would probably have to rent one for the weekend so I could play with it, I have so many trees that I planted and I wouldn’t want to get carried away and start digging them up! I really love you videos brother! You’re the man, Andrew! Stay safe Brother!
Beautiful country side!
Andrew, that part of NY is beautiful.
Mike Cook it’s still NY though.
Upstate though. Even though they are governed from the city, they do tend to be a lot more independent!
Upstate is a NYC term
Governed from Albany NY actually.
It's also a city.
albany is only a suburb of nyc
This guy is a LEGEND
The pump is a LEGEND couse its eating MUD
He just ok
Keep up the good work Andrew
Drone footage is always the icing on the cake.
thanks 4 video. be kind.
I would love to see you and Cole the Corn Star hook up. You would do wonders for his farm.
love the drone shots at the end of each vid
Instead of what would chuck norris do, we need to replace that with , what would Andrew do.
Thank you for your videos.
Loving all the videos!!!!!!
That was stuck in a bad way good thing you had the other truck
love the videos Andrew , hopefully you got paid for your time there.. keep up the good work.
Just be careful using chains as tow straps. Guy i went to high school with was towing a stuck friend out, chain snapped, went thru the back glass, and smacked him in the back of the head. Closed head injury with a fractured skull. He was never the same after that. TBI (Traumatic Brain Injury).
After he was hurt, he lost all inhibition, and was placed in a group home. His TBI caused him to lose things like inhibition, so he would just randomly grope women, or expose himself because after the injury he didn't see anything wrong with it. To my knowledge (18 years later) he's still in the group home system. Sad story.
Great video Andrew 🇺🇲
lmao the video could be named anything "literally doing nothing for 45 minutes" and Andrew would get 500k views
Yeah, that could be possible, maybe.
"Watching tv with Levi and drinking a beer" would get millions of views
I mean that's basically what his "live stream second attempt" video is
You have the patients of a saint Andrew.
Sneaking off to the toilet to watch the first bit :)
What, are you watching this at work or something ?
We had to leave to go to work, but couldn’t wait to watch, so I told my girlfriend that I urgently needed to visit the toilet and watched the first 5 minutes haha
I love upstate ny. I spent 8 years there and then got wrapped up in work/ wife & kid. One day I’ll be back.
Wow the time you put into your videos are crazy
Andrew doing good job but this old man don't know nothing so funny old man ...respect Andrew weldone keep it up bro....from UK.
After watching this, I realize medicine and being a contractor are a lot alike-90% reassuring and entertaining the customer.
Binge watching your videos. I did construction for years and went "back to school" thinking it was the right thing to do and to please my parents. I'd do anything to push snow and dig in the dirt again. You're a lucky guy. Keep up the hard work.
Out the way mr.knee pads. We’re here to see Anthony.
Dude had his hard knee pads on ready to go.
and by anthony u mean Andrew.
You make me want to make sure I have a 10 wheeler dump truck in my future arsenal. ;-)
I like the new dump truck. Good luck with it👍
Best yet! Like part 3 of the Propane series
Thank you . Andrew .
My best youtube notification 💓
This looks like a job for your track truck they have amazing flotation
No problem for the big Cummins powered International paystar!
Que bueno, me gustó la parte en que devolvió la planta al lugar
nice aquarium pump, very useful for this
Bitting type of nails kind of job eh?
Always love watching your hard work dear friend.

Plant a few Willows. They use a shed load of water and will help keep the ground dry.
I have the same plant but in a vase.,this kind of work is very relaxing. In solitude in nature
pampas grass
nice job digging up, refilling , and replanting
They make a pilling that you drive into the ground and it is perforated all the way down for water to leach into but that ruins well's when gray water hits down at true water level on the water table.. that is a hard one for sure
It must be nice digging ( not driving ) in that soft soil, i live in west texas and everything is blow sand thas has been compacted and turned as hard as a rock.
Beautiful country.
But watching you videos it would be easy to believe that the whole of New York State was waterlogged. :)
Tandem pulled it out like nothing
Yeah, I thought it came unhooked or something.
Beautiful drone footage
It's a French drain. Burrito wrap with pipe and gravel.
Once again going balls to the wall, keep it up Andrew
Nothing like playing with big boy toys 👍😎✌️👊
Hey you still got paid and didn't have to break a sweat that's a job well done to me 😁
Part of the job of the new guy is to figure out what went wrong. There is allot of clay in that soil. Septic failures occur for finite reasons. Clay soils and drainage usually arent in the same sentence
Nice work as always
Pickup truck has a lot of heart lol.
My grandfather is always trying to fix shit that doesn’t need to be fixed I just tell him to relax
Thank you , Andrew .
