Aitum sounded cool when I first heard about it back when clunky ass LIoranboard 1 was the only way to really do these things but between Lioranboard 2 & Streamerbot I just don't see the point. Sure it's "noob friendly" But so are Lioranboard and Streamerbot thansk to tutorials from you & Andrew. You don't HAVE TO use all the features they have. Ultimately it's just paying for a more "professional" and "clean" interface to do less things than free options offer. Seems every week folks are coming up with cute new little programs to fleece new streamers with tools that do less than free options that already exist.

It's so big of a gap that it actually hurts SB's functionality. i.e. Triggers are spread out across the whole UI with no option to assign two actions to one trigger without nested actions. If/else statements require a minimum of THREE actions per if/else. I love SB and the SB community, and I will continue to push for it. But after using other tools, it opened my eyes up to just how much work needs to be done on the UI. It's the biggest thing stopping people from trying it, much like how the paid model/lack of features is going to hold back Aitum.
@@hazonku We agree. A better option is: Stream Deck with a SideShowFX profile, ± $ 35 (free lifetime updates). BTW With Stream Deck Plus is the sky the limit. We are also using Atem Mini Pro with Companion and its amazing. Nice and honest review Nutty 👍🏻

I really do love aitum and have been using it since early days and the fact it is user friendly UI just really helps, the devs are amzing are allways helpfull, honetly for me The subscription is worth every penny. Also being able to trigger any rule you have made *WITH THE STREAM DECK PLUGIN* (Faild to mention that) is such an added bonus. And having learnt MIDI stuff my god its so good even built my own Guitar Pedal using it. All the other things that you mentioned they dont have is being applied, like hotkey stuff and youtube and more to still come
I'd have to correct you on one thing. Aitum does have custom code support, it is just not announced widely. I've been using some custom code bits myself for a good while with Aitum now
The simple modern UI is great, but definitely prefer the (free) more advanced/robustness of streamerbot. I feel like AITUM has that approach of SLOBS which I was never a fan of.
The simplicity of AITUM is really nice. But I've been teaching myself C# so that I can use Streamerbot to it's full potential. And I think I'll keep doing that but I will be recommending AITUM to streamers who don't need something as flexible as Streamerbot. And thanks for your amazing content, nutty. I hope you will one day be rich from all the ad revenue.

not mentioned here but aitum's service also offers stream redundancy. That means if you are streaming from your phone in town, but you lose signal, it will transfer to another device that is streaming which can continue to broadcast so the twitch stream doesn't end. Also he can use this incase there are signal issues in his home internet to help prevent VODs I plan to incorporate this with one of my streamer clients, we will use a collection of funny "technical difficulties" scenes on his home PC broadcasting live, it will only play if he passes through an area that interrupts service while he is IRL streaming around town. Currently if he is streaming IRL and gets too far into a store, his stream ends and starts over when the signal clears - which drops lurker numbers and can mess up recommended.
Already using SAMMI, Lumia Stream, Streamlabs chatbot (not sure why I still use this), Snaz, Dixper, LioranBoard 1, Snap Camera (patched - Thanks NUTTY for that vid) and Streamerbot... not sure I need to commit to another program, especially if it's a monthly cost.
Not mentioned, but think framing your webcam vertically is a great idea. Means that when you get clippable moments, you instantly have a background that will work for shorts
aitum offers a free obs studio plugin that runs similar to replay buffer but acts as a second preview screen - and can be used to capture 9:16 replay clips (they call them "backtracks"). It has saved me (as an editor) and my streaming clients a ton of extra work scraping vods and clips. It's like streamladder except it's built into OBS, and works with no issues with or without the aitum subscription service.
Seems neat. I don't have anything set up outside of stream elements, twitch guru, and blerp. I want to do it all locally, but have been too lazy to set up streamer bot. I might give the Aitum trial a shot.

I think streamerbot is great. And there isn't any rule that says you can't use BOTH. I think that Aitum is taking an approach that appeals to the streamer that just want to play games and doesn't care about all the technical stuff that goes into it.
I like the comparison (Aitum looks prettier and so does SLOBS), but the difference between Aitum and SB is bigger than the difference between OBS and SLOBS IMO.
Tried it. It's alright. Next week there will be a video on SAMMI, then after that a video comparing Streamer.bot vs SAMMI vs Aitum. I think people that use iPhones will love Aitum.. Cause those people are not used to having the freedom of being able to do everything. Like a Streamerbot and SAMMI can... I've been using SAMMI for a LONG time now, and I don't pay any monthly fees (aitum), and I don't need to learn coding to make stuff happen (streamerbot)... Also,... going through some of the comments.. All I can say is, "People, STOP using Streamlabs and anything related to streamlabs!!"

Because everybody can do !darude in my chanel, it has an intern cooldown of 5minutes. Is this possible with that program?
I get and understand that these various programs can not edit redemptions they did not make, but i dont get why they cant use redemptions they didnt make as triggers, surely they wouldnt need Editing access in order for the Channel Point Redemption to trigger something in the program, i mean, there are TTS websites that allows you to use already existing redemptions to trigger TTS stuff.
Streamer.bot can. Not sure about SAMMI. It's not too hard to recreate them. You just need to redo all your thumbnails since it's not possible to copy thumbnails over.
Cluttered UI, way too many clicks to get anywhere, very wordy tool tips, slow performance. Tbf, that applies to most of these tools. I don't think a single one has nailed it from a UI/UX perspective.

When they finish their keybind/hotkeys i will have everything i ever wanted. Well it doesnt seem to have loyalty things like tracked hours, games ecta but but is pretty cool with what it does.
I mean what I say in my videos. People need to give things a chance instead of writing them off immediately. But I still want them to figure out alternative monetization options.
Streamerbot is amazing, but I wouldn't pay for it, if i had the option to completely get rid of channel points or pay it, I wouldn't pay for it, I would look for an alternative, not that Im a cheap piece of shit, it's just that moneys tight and ill spend it less where i can

SLOBS is not that much easier to use than OBS Studio.
