Great interview, good questions and no condescention or judgement which is so often present when watching videos featuring a generation gap as large as here, great through and through. A shame it cuts off mid-sentence though.

I’ve never viewed EDM as a genre… but always as the umbrella term for electronic music. That’s funny

EDM is a millenial sub-genre of Electronic Music, which goes back thru Detroit Techno, Chicago House, NYC Disco, European New Wave, & even Musique Concrete of the 50's.

i hope he got better at interviewing this seems no be nothing more than business.. in which it probably is but it would be nice to at least really know who you're interviewing, no?

Larry comes across as jaded in his interviews. Only reason he's still popular is due to who he can get on the show, not cuz of his rizz or engaging interview style

Saw what you will, this man sure figured something out. His father was Rocky Aoki a man who took a traditional path to financial success by opening up the restaurant chain Benihana. Steve received no financial support from his father went on a completely different path as professional DJ, and is now worth over 55 Million dollars earned solely through his music in one form or another. Sounds like a very bright man to me. The smartest man I know in my own life sure as hell didn't earn 55 million dollars through his own efforts.

"Brightest tool" is not a phrase. You would either say "He doesn't seem that bright" or "He doesn't seem like the sharpest tool in the shed." However these are easy mistakes for an idiot.

It's a an attempt at humour. I'm essentially calling him a tool by using a bastardised English phrase. But whatevs Mr Wicht, I'll concede it was a bit shit but as you can see there's not much to be inspired by in this video.
