For those wondering Hema also has some stores in Belgium and Luxembourg, France,Germany,Austria and even Mexico and the UAE. Usually for people in Europe ordering from Germany is the easiest.
Yes they have stores in other countries but these aren't as easily accessible as they are here. In The Netherlands we even have HEMA at train stations!
Hi Maikee, i can't wait to see your K-beauty foundations/BB Creams reviews because i've just finished my Missha one today 🙈 and i'm opened to try something new. Also you have some interesting foundations that people don't speak often here on YT like the Bourjois and Eveline ones ( i found them on Amazon Germany) i might try some in the future!
I've heard good things about the purito one, and it's fairly affordable :) I want to try the Romand cushions because I love their lip tints and they seem popular too
@@pinkbubblesnake i've used the Missha cover fx ( with red cap ) that actually is discontinued because had a neutral undertone. The Purito one pulls really gray and has way fewer ml than Missha one so for the price point is still beaten! 🙈
@@AndreeaC. aww dang! I've noticed a ton pull super grayish! I had a holika holika one that was more of a greige colour. I want to try the Missha but feel like the best match for me is hard to find. 17 looks a good match but it's either 13 or 21
I love thinner highly pigmented foundations like the Backstage but at the same time the It Cosmetics CC cream always looks so nice in wintertime. Never found a spot on shade in MAC, it's all too yellow or too pink Have been eying the new Chanel one, but the BD undertone hasn't been available anywhere but at Bijenkorf and they refused to make a sample (didn't have it in stock) which is ridiculous for something that's €70 a bottle in a store with horrible lighting.Thinking of that experience, I might need to complete one of those online surveys
Hi Maaike I really struggle with foundation and most of it is the shade. My perfect shades are 00 in Dior (although the forever foundations are super drying on me and the backstage isn't available in 00), Revolution 0.5 (none of the foundations are great on me and my dry skin) and Sephora best skin ever in 03P (another fail from a formulation standpoint and too drying). I have a wearable shade match in Lancome teint idole in 008/091 (now reformulated and my shade has disappeared) and Mac F&B in shade C1 (my everyday base product). I do wear the GA luminous silk, but have to mix it with both white and blue mixer for it to work - although it is pretty on my skin from a formulation standpoint. The Missha bb cream in #13 needs some white mixer also, but I do like it too. That means I do not have a perfect shade match in anything that actually works on my extremely dry/rosacea and eczema prone skin - not a single one in all the base products I have tried (of which there have been so many (probably fifty plus at this stage)). It is such a struggle and an endless frustration. I tend to mix stuff to get it to work if I already bought it, but wherever possible I get samples, or try it on my wrist at least. I need a hydrating light to medium coverage (to cover the rosacea) product that looks really good on dry mature skin - not an impossible task you would think in the plethora of products available, but so few brands make a light enough shade it makes it almost an impossibility. I'm still on the hunt lol. Just remember though if the lightest shade is too dark or too yellow for you, then it's so much worse on me as I'm paler and cooler toned. Best wishes.
@@FloatinginDreams Yes two plus a green colour corrector - a blurring primer on the centre of the face (stretched pores with aging) and a hydrating/moisturising primer on the rest, plus a green colour corrector on the really red bits. I use multiple layers of skincare and an spf every day under all that, so my skin is well prepped to receive foundation etc. I am super dry and need the skincare, but I allow all that to settle before applying makeup (around 20 mins in between). It's not my prep that's the issue, but my skin is very sensitive to alcohol in foundation and some botanical "extracts" can also be very problematic.
Eveline’s cosmetics foundstions arę nice! I had wondermatch, it’a beatufil on skin umfortunately my eyes were watering using that one. You should try brow mascaras ❤ I’m going to buy cushion foundation from vt cosmetics 😊
Nice collection - I’ve been wanting to try the Flower Beauty one but I’ve been hesitating because I can’t judge the colors well and I hate to make a mistake 😂Looking forward to the concealer video. Take care.
@@FloatinginDreams i was wondering if you could compare the tinted beautifier from bourjois with essence pretty natural foundation. I have the essence one so i am wondering if it has similar texture / coverage
That's very kind of you. Thanks for reading and watching. Will see what I can do re comparing those two foundations. The Essence isn't my fave but if the Bourjous reminds of anything I will make sure to mention it.
MAC **does* offer more neutral shades. Based on the shades you mention in this video and others, I would guess that my skin tone is pretty close to yours, and I have no problem finding a match in MAC foundations--well, less so than in most other brands. Having used MAC foundations for a over decade, I can, however, say that I noticed that their numbering system (e.g., NC 15, NW 12, etc.) has become less reliable and less reliably consistent over the years: for instance, NC 15 in Studio Sculpt is significantly lighter and more neutral than NC 15 in Studio Fix, and NW 13 in Studio Fix is pretty neutral, whereas NW 12 is much cooler-toned (I may have reversed the latter two examples). (By the way, Studio Fix mixed with a dab of Strobe Cream makes for a lovely light-weight and relatively long-lasting foundation, and the shade range in that formula is pretty darned good.) Given that it isn't always convenient for me to drag myself to a MAC counter or store, I find that the best way to select a shade is to read the descriptions on the **US** MAC website, as they are way more helpful than, for instance, those provided on the German website. So the point: if you are interested in MAC base products, check out the US website--the shade descriptions there are spot-on.
@@FloatinginDreams I find it surprising too, but I trust the makeup artists in store know their stuff--better than I. (I have to say though, I am surprised that you were matched to NC 15 in Waterweight, as it is a bit on the yellow side. At least, it leans a bit yellow on me. I would have thought an NW would be a better match for you since you lean cool.) That said, given the size of your foundation collection, you probably won't need to worry about finding a match in any brand of foundation any time soon. :) Thanks for the videos!
That's why I say MAC doesn't do many good neutral shades. NW shades are usually the right undertone but not light enough, so I am stuck with a shade that is too yellow but works better depth wise.
Mac Foundations are super hard to match , i am a true light neutral and till this day even they're N shades are yellow. They and Nars have a problem with yellow/ orange pigments 🙈. My perfect foundation match is Armani Luminous Silk in 4 !
Stick foundations are good for travel, small and compact. Maybe that's how you can still use your Hourglass Vanish before it goes bad.
I don't travel enough for that. Plus I already have Dior Backstage.
So excited for everyday videos!
Glad you are!

The Flower Beauty one is great, but the shade range is not the best I find.
The armani luminous silk foundation in number 3 fair golden. Is it yellow toned as they say it is golden?
I don't know. I was matched to it in store and find it to be one of my most perfect shades. On me it doesn't look yellow at all.
