- Fun Fact - This video was filmed and edited in 2 and 1/2 days. The editing took at least 17 hours. Sam Cooper lost some sleep. Thanks to everyone who took part in this film and made it happen; you are such a blessing.
This video shows what many Liberty University students say. And, yes! This video is based off of "Shoot Christians Say" by Tripp and Tyler, which is based off of "S*** People Say."
Although this video may appear to be completely full of unoriginal creativity in editing or in function, the script for "What Liberty University Students Say," is originally written by Sam Cooper and includes plenty of original ideas and a theme that has not been brought to fruition before. Enjoy!

One of my favorite parts is that you can hear construction vehicles in one of the outdoor scenes. Pretty much sums up a lot of the campus right now.

Awe! I'm so happy you enjoyed it. I might get to meet your brother some time! I'm a junior there right now in the cinematic arts program. And I completely agree! I love Liberty and I love how we can all understand what is happening in the video, because we hear that dialogue frequently, while people who don't attend Liberty can't really understand it to its fullness haha They see it almost like a foreign language. I can hear them saying to themselves, "Why do they want to 'rot'?" I think every school probably has its frequently heard dialogue as well.

Why do people search videos about a university just to trash talk it. The only people that are really watching this are people planning to go or people that are literally already going there. You saying rude things about our religion and our college choice will change absolutely nothing
Joi Lamay Liberty is the one of the few colleges with a curfew. It's like you guys are still kids and not adults.
NuclearWinter it's a conservative school. All conservative schools do this. Are you truly that surprised.
Liberty has so much to offer. If a 12am curfew keeps someone from going to a great university its there loss.
It's honestly not bad and it's not like you have to go to bed, you just gotta be back on your hall which helps you build great community with the people on your hall and since you're back on your hall and not going anywhere (you can leave if you sign out and you're 20 or older or if you get permission from your RA or if you go with your RA) you might as well get homework done. Every rule that they have that may seem kind of stupid has some really positive attributes and side effects to it. Sometimes it is inconvenient but it prevents a lot of crap... and if you really don't like curfew, they have a thing on one part of campus that is no curfew or you could just move off campus.

I was at LU from 2005-2012 and it's even more HILARIOUS how this still resonates with me. Like LU hasn't changed much 🤣
I was just a CFAW and I literally saw a guy standing on a bench singing on my first day. Btw, CFAW was awesome!

I went to LU from 2006-2010...and legitimately, NOTHING HAS CHANGED. Except there's Cookout now and a bunch of new buildings. Very funny.

Jarobi Clark I go there currently and just like with every school there are pros and cons but God is doing amazing things there. I never wanted to go to Liberty until I checked it out for myself and then I loved it
I loved the video! Leave it up to the haters to think it's necessary to question an accredited research institution of higher learning in the comments of a satire video on RUclips haha! Fun fact: Liberty is the third largest university in the nation, and the largest non-profit institution in the country and the largest university in the state of Virginia. We also have much nicer facilities than almost any other school in the country. Those who hate Liberty can keep on hating, it won't change the fact that our students are some of the most sought after in the country for almost any job. God bless! :)
I don't mean to hate, but the issue that most have with the school is that it teaches creationism as a legitimate alternative to evolution and that dinosaurs lived 3,000 years ago.
powerofpickle I don’t know why people care that we teach creation. With the majority of students it has nothing to do with their field so who cares.
Liberty university might be the largest university in Virginia by population but I think 80% is online while 20% is in person.

Well, since carbon dating is undetectable past a 17,000 year period or so, and there is evidence that environmental surroundings of a fossil can either keep it "young" or help to age it more quickly, and most fossil ages are "guesstimated" based of "trends" by atheists who have an agenda to prove. Why don't you tell me how old those fossils REALLY are. Oh wait! You can't!

The one thing I don't understand is why they have curfew?
NuclearWinter Its mainly for the freshmen/sophomores now, since anyone 20 or above can just right that they are leaving on a sign out sheet to let the RA’s know they weren’t kidnaped. Same reason mainly that there is attendance in freshmen/sophomore classes but not in upper level ones. It’s to try and encourage good patterns of behavior early in their college career.

Crouch Justin We, in fact, do! We have a class that studies him and his theory of evolution in depth. We look at all the evidence provided and then make the best conclusions possible with given evidence. Definitely an interesting experience! I learned more in that class than 12 years of public school.
