Yes, definitely. I have thought about it for years but so far been further north in Spain or bypassed it and holidayed in Turkey. Can you please tell me the name of your AirBnB. Looks lovely. Thanks. Mark
@@dunewalks5988 We love Turkey too, nice place to spend some time. We loved our airbnb in Seville, perfect size for a couple and very central lovely location. Here is a link www.airbnb.ca/rooms/24670406?source_impression_id=p3_1670822382_AzzbJqzoAjz1Uc4g
Hi Patrick, all of our videos are quoted in USD. USD is a common currency on a global level so it’s easier to do everything that way, even if it makes more work for me doing the conversions
Hi guys. Once again amazing channel with great content. Everyone should subscribe. A question for you. What cell company do you recommend for a SIM card? My first stop after Portugal will be Cadiz Spain. I would like to get a SIM card at this stop for GPS and text messages and emails. How many gig would be enough, ball park estimate. I hear Orange and Vodafone are good companies with great coverage. Thanks Joe
Hi Joe, Thanks for the kind words! We used Orange and found the coverage and service to be excellent. We each bought a SIM at the airport for 15 Euro, 10Gb, valid for 30 days. After that we topped up online each month we were there, 10Gb for 10 Euro each time. Overall a great deal compared to rates in Canada!
As you know there are way too many variables to tell you what it will cost for a solo traveler for one week. You could do it for $200 or you could do it for $10k. It all depends on what your standards are and what you want to do while you are there. If budget is a concern I would strongly suggest a hostel for accommodations as that will be your biggest expense
@@PureDetour one more thing can you please tell me, what is the cost of 1 day cost living in hostle and 1 day breakfast cost and 1 day lunch cost and 1 day night dinner cost :) ???
The locals actually say it like Sa Bee Ya. But the way we pronounced it is the standard American/Uk because we're English speakers. It's like if we went to Germany, we would call it Germany, even though the locals call it Deutschland.
Hi! Costs are in USD. I'm Canadian, but most viewers are from other places around the world. We always do in USD and EURO that way more people understand the costs right off the bat without having to look up the exchange rate. Thanks for watching & let us know if you have any more questions. We also did 2 other cost of livings in Spain (Malaga & Granada.) Also note that each was for only one month. You, of course, will get better deals on rent if you stay longer. I'm guessing you're Canadian too?
@Pure Detour thank you. Good video 👍 Yes, I'm Canadian, but I live in the US. You guys seemed like you really enjoyed yourselves and were fairly liberal with your spending. I watched another video where this couple's expenses were under $2,000 which seemed a bit low. Actually, I am looking to get some good information about obtaining residency in Spain through purchasing a property in Sevilla or Jerez.
@@iamthemusic69 Thanks so much! Yes, this month in Seville was actually one of our more expensive months in our travels. We ate out a lot, met some crazy people who we went out late having one too many drinks with and also bought some clothing and camera equipment, paid for PCR tests to leave the country, etc. So for longer term living, I think that 2000 / month is quite feasible. It's just that when you're there shorter term, you're trying to pack much more in to your days (in restaurants & attractions) than if you were living there. I've said to Geoff that Sevilla is my favourite of all the Spanish towns we visited, and I think a lot of people would agree. Though I didn't make it to Jerez, I hear it's also lovely. Best of luck with the residency!
Great content guys! Loved the video. Definitely gonna watch more videos from your channel!
Thanks so much Wanderson! We just got to a new country and can't wait for the videos to come out later this week. Let us know what you think!
One of the best channels out there and I’ve looked at many.
Great video guys.

Hi! Glad you liked it. Planning a trip to Seville? I still talk about how much I liked it there. Such a nice vibe to that city.

@@PureDetour thanks Geoff. Yes the rates in Canada are insane. I will get a card at Cadiz since I’m arriving by cruise ship.
Stay safe !!

@@PureDetour 15 euros for one sim card for a month with so much data? In Canada, Rogers, Bell and Telus will never allow that too happen
Haha! You got that right. No way to see that in Canada
