Some of the best info about motorcycle engine breakin I've seen on video. Also don't idle your motorcycle while it's leaning on it's on its side kickstand. Always have the bike level when idling, even to warm it up after it's broke in. Keep that clutch wet.
just rode the kpr for the first time and probably stalled at least 20 times already but its extremely fun once you get used to it and how the clutch works!
That’s awesome Tac! You’ll get used to the clutch and before long you won’t even have to think about it, it’s like second nature. I’m glad you are enjoying your new bike
@@herbiesgarage681 almost at 100 miles with it and is it true I need to use standard oil for the next 500 or so miles before I switch to full synthetic? And what oil did you use after the 70-100 mile break in?
@@ThaCampinSniperz Hi Tac, I wouldn't switch to full synthetic until between 500 to1000 miles. Me personally, I'm not going to use synthetic at ll in the KPR because I like how smooth the transmission shifts with standard oil. If you watch my oil change video, I talk a little about the oil I use in that video.
@@ThaCampinSniperz In the KPR yes, I try different oils occasionally and on different bikes but when I find one that makes the transmission shift butter smooth, I stick with it. Hope this helps
If you were to use the method that I use it will be 80 percent broke in around 100 miles, it takes time for the transmission and everything else to fully break in. I use anywhere from 500 - 1000 miles as a marker for it to be totally broke in. A lot of it is in the way that you ride. As far as valve adjustments go, they are a kind of crap shoot. Some are good from the get go and others are not. I like to adjust my valve clearance within the first 100 miles. If your bike is running perfectly then you might be able to go to 1000 miles without any problem.
Herbie, may I ask please that you show "U.S." a few shots of you on the bike? I would like to get a better idea of riding position. If possible, please inform us of your height, inseam, and weight for reference. I am trying to get an idea of how someone roughly 5'5" with a 28 or 29 inch inseam would fit on the "King Power Racing" 200! Thank you!
@@herbiesgarage681 Sir, do you have links to the accessories/modifications you have made? I am particularly interested in the bar risers as I would like to bring it from more of a sport bike position toward a standard. Thank you!

@@naiemhossain4220 I’m not familiar with the carb version of the KPR, does the carb have a flange where it mounts to the intake manifold or a tube with hose clamps? Do you have an aftermarket carb that you are trying to fit on the KPR?
Yes, it’s important to check and adjust if necessary. I’ve owned 3 Chinese bikes and all three had tight adjustment on the exhaust valves. It’s important for any brand new bike to check and adjust the valves at proper intervals
Great video. Lots of good information! Thanks 👍.... I have not had a motorcycle in several years. Sold my last bike in 2017. I'm ready for a new one, and something different from all the cruisers I've had in the past. I did own a Lifan 250 V Twin back in 2012.... I'm looking for another Lifan. Thanks again for all your videos 👍
Thank you Raymond, I really appreciate the kind words! Yeah you need to get you another bike 😀 The Lifan bikes seem to be good quality especially for the price. @@herbiesgarage681 Thanks ! I am looking at their website now. All the motorcycles on there are branded as Venom bikes. But I guess they're actually the Lifan product? They look exactly like it. Some of them look like the Vitacci, but they are actually Lifan also aren't they ??

Hi, I've watched a lot of KPR 200 videos including many of yours and it seems like there's kind of a lot that should be done with the bike in terms of fluid changes and other odd little quirks of the bike. Do you happen to have a playlist somewhere of videos regarding what to do between assembling and riding the KPR, or would you be able to make such a video? Thanks for all the videos so far and ride safe🤝
Hello Ryan, there isn't really a lot of maintenance things to do after assembly and before riding. I see that you watched the engine break in procedure, so you know to change the engine oil at certain intervals.
