Dr Bob brings you SCP Foundation anomaly SCP-001 The Prototype Animation.
This is the story of SCP 001, the first SCP, and the origins of the SCP Foundation. Recovered in Guatemala, SCP001 was first reported as a demon that was seen by several boys on a rural road. After several locals went missing and more were admitted to a hospital with radiation poisoning, a recovery team was assembled to capture the monster.

Agreed, and by this point we *all* know about the more popular SCPs, so hearing about these obscure ones can surprise and fascinate us because we have no idea what to expect from them, especially with the stories he tells about them (many times I'm left wondering whether or not the protagonist is gonna make it out of this alive!)

The SCP is cool and all, but can we give some credit to the guy who got his throat shredded but came in clutch at the last second to save his friend? Not even MTF, and he still managed to fend off the SCP.
Edit: I see some comments saying that the MTF didn't exist yet in the timeline of this proposal, it's still impressive because he had no training for this kind of thing or even had any idea what he was up against. Still had the balls to shoot the Prototype whilst bleeding out from the throat.

once i thought the foundation was evil ~ but now i'm exciting on their adventures on how they capture each unknown creatures to protect mankind and only uses criminals to execute their tests
They're not evil but they're certainly not good. They're a neutral entity that is obsessed with keeping humanity in the dark, even if it's t the detriment of humanity and innocent people / entity's that just happen to be anomalous. They completely dehumanise you if you're in anyway anomalous, you become an "it". They also won't help humanity in anything caused by natural means like they can fix global warming pretty easily but because it is man made, in the future when it's a serious problem they just let humanity deal poorly with it.
I'd argue the Chaos Insurgency are a more morally better organisation, they want to give anomalies to the world and have people benefit off them

I just started watching Dr. Bob’s videos and I love them. Can’t get enough but if you’re looking for a good video suggestion on SCP 001 proposals, how about the SCP 001 The Spiral Path? Ever since I learned about this particular proposal, I could easily see nearly all of the anomalies being created by the foundation using the equations they received while researching the path. All I can do is just wait and hope that Dr. Bob will do video on the Spiral Path and if he does, I know it’ll be one of his best yet.
The opening scene reminds me of the movie Predator. Jungle, soldiers shooting at something they can't see, them dying. Literally jungle battle scene in Predator. Maybe this is the Foundation's version of the Predator.

This is my personal favourite scp-001. For me it makes sense. the military find some strange creature that kills several soldiers and dr. Keter and they finally contain it. And they wonder, “what else is there?” And then the rest is history.
My personal theory would be this the actual 001, but some the other 001 also exist. The foundation just toss some scp on that number to hid something.

I think the "sheaf of papers" makes more sense to be the first scp. Because in my opinion the first SCP being the prototype doesn't make sense. Because how could they contain something so powerful as their very first SCP? But the sheaf of papers is a safe class so it would be easier to contain it and they would be able to see future SCPs and the Foundation grows more powerful as they learn more about the SCPs they are gonna have to contain and is able to contain more powerful SCPs.

It contradict so much other SCP lore though. They've know about anomalies for hundreds of years and groups of interests have existed just as long. The earth was originally ruled by the Sarkiks and The Church of the Broken God who were at war with each other.

This SCP must go to the Keter Class, due to him/her being a very powerful, fast and very hostile creature, as the creature can get out of it's cell and cause chaos if the power goes out. Dr. Bob is, in my honest-to-god opinion, one of the few scp animation channels out there who’s actually grown.
This guy perfects the art of storytelling as he dives in to the anomalies by introducing them through scenarios where the anomalies are first discovered by the foundation, and so on.

The thing about this SCP is the fact it might not be the first. Theres multiple files created for SCP-001. For all we know, this can be a fake SCP-001. Only the O5 know the real SCP-001.

I honestly find scps alot more entertaining when they can be harmed/killed rather then just being completely immortal.
I love the opening story so much! Reminds me of Kong Skull Island with soldiers encountering a supernatural force in the jungle!
