You sum my thoughts up pretty accurately at the end of the video, I really enjoyed the start and the midgame with the absurdly huge enemy armies, but from the snow section and after that it fells down quite a bit.
My theory, for why the enemy numbers shrink too much is bc the teal player has their start very close to Box, and it wouldn't be fair to have 10k+ armies next to their starting area.
And if you need map recommendations, feel free to ask me, I know a bunch of unique and untrivial ones that force you out of your comfort zone.

I just played this through for the second time and this time I can't get into the last section of the map. There's a big cube blocking the entry with a message that says, "Delete Me Now". The first time I played it this didn't happen? Any thoughts?

You have lost your resources when you have passed a gate house at 3:55:17

You could take your extra armies and park them in a mine or something. They don't have to be in a town.

No I haven't tried DD, I've seen it played, didn't really seem like my kind of thing but who knows.

It's maybe simpler then what you like. Also dd2 was trouble

I think that later in the game ,the stacks were meant to be so big ,the numbers just collapsed. Seeing the numbers,my guess is that whatever was meant to be over 100k,lost the last three or four digits.
