If I discover an element, I will name it Vivaldium. The six elements discovered last are not metals, and the next element will wrap the sequence of elements back to metals, so there is my chance.
I think he did have a sort of distortion with the mechanics of the violin, actually! If you play with the bottom half of the bow and close to the bridge of the violin, you get this awesome gruff sound that you can hear in many violin performances of this movement, especially during certain polyphonic parts. It sounds like someone is grinding the bow into the violin in a fit of anger. In other parts, the violinist might play with the top part of the bow and closer to the fingerboard to get this thin, wirey, hollow sound that makes me think of howling wind. I think Janine Janson does a great job of showing off this old-fashioned “distortion”
Yeah, it`s relly interesting how when listening to his pieces you just get this feeling of powermetal shining through, passages that sound just liken riffs so much later appearing in rock and metal musik.
He meant that the original composition is respected and it sounds like it's meant to, not like a generic metal song that treats the piece like minced meat.
People (just like me) are amazed that how similar renaissance music was to today's metal. But we shouldn't forget that today's metal received significant input from guitarists like Randy Rhoads, who was indeed trained in classical music.
I don't think anything can get more metal than this. I honestly say it, not trying to be funny. It's perfect. It's badass, heavy, makes you headbang while a marvelous melody with the perfect tone and metal chords accentuate a harmony that overall it hits you like a punch to your face. Congratulations for doing this type of arrangements.
Yes! Vivaldi is one of my favorite classical composers across all eras. Actually honestly probably just one of my favorite "writers of music" across all eras. This ROCKS!
Why am I only now seeing this?!? This is epic man!! The arrangement in sick, the progressive drums are crazy... I mean, I have never seen a better cover!! Hats down and congrats!
This is the best version on yt so far, it captures the epicness of the original whilst giving it that nice metal tone, absolutely and absurdly good, loved it to the point of almost breaking my neck from headbanging
I'm so glad I found your channel. Been looking for someone who covers classical pieces on electric and you're practically thr only one on youtube with a large selection to sift through. Love it!
Oh, my God!!!! You are amazing! I'm so love this music! Vivaldi's seasons! When I listening it, I'm crying everytime! Thank you, bro! I'm from Russia and my English is so bad...) You are awesome!!!!)
@@Kloashut is he from the Scorpions? I found an old song called Sails of Charon, I think... It was really cool, and surprisingly had never heard it. One of their cooler riffs, imo.
@@emilyrock8594 Yeah, he played with the Scorpions but has an elaborate solo repetoire as well. No disrespect to Andre Antunes as he does a marvelous job [love it]! Here's the link to it: ruclips.net/video/NJkX2SWYZy0/видео.html
@@Kloashut I hope Andre sees connections such as these to be literally his contribution to spreading the true musicians amongst modern fans of good playing and good composition. I would take it as an honor to be associated with the greats. I hope he does too, as he deserves to be in the conversation of great guitar virtuosos.
Vivaldi is so metal that he deserves to be in the periodic table of elements
Genius level commenting 😂😂😂

Vivaldi: I'm limited by the technology of my time.
underrated comment.
Non credo proprio
Vivaldi Stark
No
I always called classical music (proto-metal)
Damn, vivaldi wrote this piece for electric guitar before electric guitar was invented, the percussiveness is amazing.
Yeah, it`s relly interesting how when listening to his pieces you just get this feeling of powermetal shining through, passages that sound just liken riffs so much later appearing in rock and metal musik.
He wrote it saying : Lacking the necessary advancements in instrumentation, I wrote this for another time, and I will not live to hear its true form!
One of the best arrangements I’ve seen on guitar, it truly sounds like Vivaldi and not just a metal version that sounds like Vivaldi
But it is a metal version that sounds like vivaldi.
You need to rephrase
you could check out the version of Patrick Ronda as well , its a great one.
@@14onyx Maybe he meant that this sounds like it was written for electroc guitar and not like an alternative version.

Yh some classical musicians like Bach went against the standards of the time and basically made rock.

Metal came from hard rock which is made of classical music and blues. Metal just has less blues and mostly classical music with a drum beat.
This is Baroque. Baroque and roll.
I will never get over how hard this goes on the electric guitar.

there was a heavy wood.

I love this part of four seasons 🖤 Vivaldi was a genius!
This is genius, classical music always sounds great when played on guitar!
You should listen to the metal tracks played on a full sized organ :) It's on Rob Scallon's channel.
Vivaldi is prof that Classical is Metal before electricity 🔌
this is soooo hard!!!! a proof that vivaldi would be a metalhead 100%
Four seasons have always rocked, but this is brilliant.
You put some style and personality with this arrangement of this piece, looks and sounds absolutely natural and awesome! Very well done!
Actually brought a tear to my eye brother! You got all the emotion Vivaldi put into this piece. ✌️
How in the world do you have such an incredible tone
I bet Vivaldi is vibing to this from heaven.
If only Vivaldi and Bach had an electric guitar. They would compose metal so awesome that it is beyond comprehension
fantastic ! man vivaldi was a metal-head, no other explanation is possible ! :)
I am 50 (Headbangers' Ball generation) and I have never heard anything like this. You are incredibe (and I'm crying)❤

This is unbelievable! I really thank the Kenneth Copeland meme for introducing me to your channel, your "serious" videos are fantastic!
this is ASTONISHING virtuosity...this is transcendental...this is why I know we are divine beings!
Vivaldi is probably the firmest proof that metal is the closest modern relative to classical music. Even the original sounds metal as hell. 🤟
