I stretched the little springs on the back cover a bit with a flat head screw driver and that did the trick, because the inner protector was bulging a bit from the tape and paper I put so the microphone flex didn't pop out. Thanks!

Nice dude. Took off my cover the other day, put it back on, realized the buzzer didn't work. Watched this video, pushed in the spot indicated on the video, it made a noise, and it started working again. The sound reminded me of when you crack your knuckles or neck; I felt like a chiropractor.
This actually worked!!! Just had a screen replacement performed and the back cover was not quite tight enough. Pressed in the spot below the cam/flash and heard a little snap... The internet is amazing!!!!

At times when I pressed my phone it would come and it got me frustrated. I pressed the phone at the correct spot as you showed and I heard a click, guessing it got fixed to it's place. You just saved me a lot of cash! :D Liked and subscribed :)
This method didn't make for a lasting solution after replacing the battery. So, opened it back up and pulled on the little springs that contact the vibrator to stretch them out a little. This worked great

Контакт пружин может не доставать из-за подложенных предметов между задней крышкой и платой, которые, как правило, подкладывают для прижима шлейфа, отвечающего за работу микрофона и не только. Рад, что Nexus 5 на столько ремонтопригоден, 2 раза менял экран, теперь вот микрофон и вибрация, всё ремонтируется в домашних условиях без каких-либо проблем.

My screen was smashed and had it replaced. When I began starting up the device I noticed the haptic feedback was not working and began looking at possible settings. Once I moved the volume down to vibrate I realized it was not working. I tried pressing on the spot and it was not working. I tried again and heard a little click and then it was working. So, if it doesn't work push lightly until it clicks. Cheers for the video!!!

I had to replace the battery in my Nexus 5 and after that the vibrate wasn't working. Took two seconds to fix thanks to this, awesome!
