“Dandelion” is Mariah’s older sister, Alison. They have been estranged for a long time. Alison has had issues with drugs and is living with HIV. She is not famous at all, and is actually very destitute. Alison used to be Mariah’s protector, but they fell apart when Mariah got famous.
Jack Reacts ❤️❤️❤️ on that vein I’d highly recommended the song “Sunflowers for Alfred Roy” from the Charmbracelet album. Alfred Roy was her father, who died in the early 2000s. Sunflowers were his favorite type of flower, according to Mariah.

I found this explanation on Reddit that someone beautifully describes where Mariah is writing from on this song that I wanted to share because it really shows you how honest and raw this is and really hits you when you give it another listen after you know (Most of the Lambs kinda know the story already): [She starts off by talking about how she has always "sought stability" and wonders if "there's ever been a perfect family". This is referencing her parents' divorce when she was very young, and how her family has been separated since she was just a little kid (Mariah and her brother lived with her mom, her sister with her father). She then talks about how a "flower" (her sister, Allison, who was a drug addict and prostitute at one point) changed and started "flailing in the wind". She then says that she misses the dandelion, and even loves her; however, she wishes that there was a way to trust her sister and how it hurts to touch her. Now comes the part that talks about her first husband, Tommy Mottola. She calls him a "patriarch", implying that he was an older male figure rather than a real lover, and says that she was "resigned to spend my life within a maze of misery". She was able to bond with his children from a prior marriage (even going as far as to call them "little sis and little brother"). She then admits that she "stayed so long" but she "fled to save my sanity", referring to her escaping from Tommy Mottola. These two verses show how much she cared about those two children, who she befriended, but ultimately, her own sanity and well-being was more important to her. This part is where she starts to get a little darker. She states that "So many I considered closest to me/Turned on a dime and sold me out dutifully". She also says, "Although that knife was chipping away at me/They turned their eyes away and went home to sleep". This verse explains how when Mariah decided to do what she wanted, people she was close to decided to sell her out and ignored her, even when she was at her lowest (which wasn't even at this point in her life, yet). This next part of the song talks about Tommy Mottola again, admitting that Mariah has "lost a lot of life, but I'll recover". This is referring to Mottola controlling her whole career and having a grasp over her entire life for the years where most people grow dramatically and explore life. This next part is directed towards Mottola specifically, almost like a message: "Though I know you really like to see me suffer/Still I wish that you and I'd forgive each other/'Cause I miss you, Valentine, and really loved you". Mariah is claiming that her ex would like to see her not do well in life, but she still has strong feelings for him and really did love him. She even calls him by his former production name, "Valentine". The final part of the song has Mariah saying that "I tried so hard/But you drove me away/To preserve my sanity". She wanted to stay in the relationship and love him, but his excessive control and stranglehold over her life caused her to split from him, so she wouldn't go crazy and live a terrible life. The outro is kind of symbolic of the theme of petals flying away from their original home/flower. Mariah sings, "And I found the strength to break away", and finally says "Fly". While some people flying away from their "flower" (e.g. Alison) got into bigger problems, Mariah flew away from her "flower" and is now in a much better place.] Thank you, Jack, for bringing one of Mariah’s best songs to light on your platform!!!! Much Love!! ❤️
This is one song that chonicles Mariah’s personal and professional life. The explanation is on point. Verse 1: Mariah’s family life and relationship with her estranged sister. Such an emotional song. When she performed it she would always cry. She's on video Performing this song back then and she would always cry. Such a sad song. She went thru alot. 😭💔
Jack, you are incredibly emotionally mature. I'm sure that's been a blessing to you and others you have come across. That's a gift from God, cherish it, share it and stay in the light. There is a lot of darkness that is about to come to light, PRAY! Great review, as always... Mariah comes from a broken home, her parents who were in an interracial marriage divorced when she was 3 years old and she stayed with her mother and gradually saw less and less of her father and her much older sister Alison(Dandelion) who chose to go live with him while her older brother Morgan (who later sold her out, dutifully) chose to stay with Mariah and their mother. They all had a very horrible time as a family being terrorised by racist neighbours and that put a strain on her parents who ultimately were torn apart because of the ever present racial tension of the late 50's-60's-70's. Mariah started singing at two years old and knew she wanted to be a singer by age 4. She started singing background as a 13 year old professionally in studios in New York and writing songs which would end up on her debut album when she was 15.years old! When she (at 18) met Tommy Mottola (38) at an industry party, she had already signed a deal with Warner Music but when he heard her demo he made it his business to sign her to Columbia/Sony at all cost, including paying off Ben Margulies (who had Mariah sign a slave contract with him when she was a minor and struggling singer-songwriter). Tommy pursued Mariah who had never even had a serious boyfriend before him, during the production of her debut album and everything that comes with it. He divorced his Jewish wife of decades, with whom he had a boy and girl (who were much closer in age to Mariah than Mariah was to Tommy), converted to Christian and Mariah married him the same year she turned 23 and Music Box was released. It was a very unhappy union in the end and the breakup and divorce would almost cost her her entire career! Tommy (who used to be in a band when he was a young musician and called "Valentine") is very vindictive and did everything to make her life a living hell both during and after they were together. A lot of the people she worked with and thought were her real friends would abandon her in favour of Tommy or spy on her and report back to him so he could keep tabs on her and keep controlling her life - Walter Affanasief, Cory Rooney, Gloria Estefan, Diane Martel (This is my own take btw, Mariah has neither confirmed or denied or ever been specific about naming any one person in any of her songs, for obvious reasons) Petals is such an anthem for many of us because we're kids who grew up without both of our parents for one reason or another and the negative affect that can pose to one's self-image and sense of self-worth. A Mother and Father who make good choices that enable them to stay married and a secure family unit that love and care for their offspring is an essential child human right. A lot of us don't always get as much of that stability as we would have needed. But nobody is perfect and Thank God for forgiveness for others and ourselves that we can heal from any trauma and hurt by the Grace of God that steps in when we as humans don't measure up. God bless you and everyone in these times of uncertainty, PRAY for the children 🙏🏼❤✟🦋
These lyrics hits different now after reading her new book, wow, Mariah clearly told us her whole life through her songs all these years, well if you have been paying attention off course. Thank you QueenRiah for so many strength through your songs, God bless you always, and thank you Jack.
Basically this is her spilling her family tea lol. She never talks about it in interviews, but she's not cool with most of her family, like at all. That's basically what this song is about.
Jack, people see her as this diva without even digging her past. Only lambs know what she went through. React to Close my Eyes, next. It was a song that she wrote after her divorce with Tommy Mottola-her first husband. And how she was then plagued by uncertainty because for the first time since she had started her career, she's free from the manipulation of her ex husband. Please. It's very fitting to react to that after this song. Next is Looking In off of her Daydream album. It was her answer to those who see her as this princess living in a perfect world. She struggled including that in her Daydream album because back then, it foreshadows the deteriorating marriage between her and her then husband. Last but not the least is her song Side effects. The song was delivered in a menacing manner. It gives us a view of the side effects that still haunt her more than a decade after her marriage ended with her controlling ex. All love and support from the Philippines! Keep this Mariah reactions coming! ❤
I literally got emotional watching your reaction. It's a beautiful song, so touching. There's an incredible live performance of this song on the Rosie O'Donnell show.
Every time she sings this song on stage she starts crying, then adds the interlude of Rainbow just to make it more emotional. She uses the term Dandelion because it's a very simple looking flower however is composed of hunderds of little pieces but with the blow of the wind it can dissappear very fast, even knowing that she held on to a person and when they rmare gone she misses them, and even after the damage and solace she thinks she still loves him it's a projection of her life into a different family. "I often gravitated towards a patriarch so young predictably" could be a nod to her first marriage with Mottola, she was 23 years in he was 20 years older, she probably felt like he was a father figure, somebody that was gonna support her and make up for time lost with her father but after this little hope she is resigned to the idea of living miserably in spite of the attempts to be better.
this song was dedicated to the relations ship between her older sister and her brother and also the time the friends she trusted turned on her and bullied her which was a real story
Just can't help starring at your lips and teeth like literally the whole video. Every time you open your mouth plus the deep voice was so magnetic.. so attractive and now subscribed✌️
Let me break it down for you from someone who's been a lamb since 1990. "I've often wondered if there's ever been a perfect family I've always longed for undividedness and sought stability" - This one is easy. She's obviously talking about growing up in a biracial family and the difficulty that came with it. Her parents divorced when she was very young. "A flower taught me how to pray But as I grew, that flower changed She started flaying in the wind Like golden petals scattering" - Flower refers to her sister Alison. They were very close. Allegedly before MC rose to stardom, Alison sold herself (prostitution) to help MC in her demos and musical career. After MC became an instant superstar, Alison started making unreasonable demands on MC. It came to a point that Alison said inflammatory remarks against MC. They've been since estranged. Btw, Alison has had AIDS since way back. "And I miss you dandelion And even love you And I wish there was a way For me to trust you But it hurts me every time I try to touch you" - Dandelion is a flower. Again this refers to Alison and their estranged relationship. But I miss you dandelion And even love you "I gravitated towards a patriarch so young predictably I was resigned to spend my life within a maze of misery" - Tommy Mottola enters in the picture. He was 20 years older when he discovered Mariah. He helped MC a lot to become a household name up until he became controlling of her career. They got married and that's when MC realized she fell into a trap. "A boy and a girl befriended me We're bonded through despondency I stayed so long but finally I fled to save my sanity And I miss you little sis And Little brother And I hope you realize I'll always love you (Always love you) And although you're struggling You will recover (we're gonna make it maybe) And I miss you little sis and little brother" - When MC and Mottola got married, the latter had children just a little younger than MC but old enough to be her siblings. "So many I considered Closest to me Turned on a dime and sold me Out dutifully Although that knife was chipping Away at me They turned their eyes away and Went home to sleep (Sleep) (Sleep) (Sleep)" - After the divorce in 1997, some of MC's long time collaborators/friends chose money (Mottola) which was part of Mottola's plan to bring down MC. Walter Afanasieff started working a lot with Celine Dion while Cory Rooney helped in the making of Jennifer Lopez' music career. Both Dion and Lopez were under Sony Music as well. "And I missed a lot of life But I'll recover Though I know you really like To see me suffer Still I wish that you and I'd Forgive each other 'Cause I miss you, Valentine And really loved you" - Despite their irreconcilable differences, Carey loved, cared for and respected Mottola but.... "I really loved you (I guess I loved you) I tried so hard But you drove me away To preserve my sanity" - .....MC obviously can no longer work under Sony Music. "And I found the strength to break away" - Rainbow was MC's last album under Sony and it was clear back in the day she was no longer renewing her contract with them.
Mariah is a master vocalist, lyricist and producer. You should check out Mariah's favorite song "Close my eyes" from the album Butterfly or "Outside". Master lyrics and arrangements definitely
There’s a performance from her Rainbow World Tour where she performs this song and starts crying. It’s very emotional. One of my faves from her for sure. Top 3 tbh.

hi jack! im pleasantly surprised you decided to listen to this song; this is really one of mariah's most poetic musical masterpieces and i too can relate to the issues she brought up. you don't have to film a reaction for this cuz the song is very short but on the rainbow album, this song is followed by an interlude called "rainbow" and it actually concludes this song beautifully ❤
The dandelion shes referring to is her sister Allison , who was a drug addicted and is living with HIV now. To this day they don't talk. After ending the abusive relationship with Tommy (the head of Sony and the valentine she mentions) everything went downhill. His kids were close to Mariah but stopped talking to her (little brother and sister), and her co writers and co workers also stopped contact with her(hence the turned away bit) especially her co writer Walter who wrote many hits with her in the past. She had it rough and was able to come back up regardless of Tommy trying to end her career(by using Jlo etc) and having SO much power and also the incident of Glitter flopping in 2001(9/11 made no one want to go to the movies). Very few artists can rise back up like she did in 2005(probably the best moment of her career).
The Dandelion is her sister Alison. The Patriarch and the Valentine are both the same person, her ex husband Tommy Mottola. The little sis and little brother she befriended are Tommy's children. And the knife she talks about that was chirping away at her is a literal knife that Mottola held to her face when she told him she was leaving him for good and the people that went home to sleep were 3 men that were present when he yeld the knife, 3 men she considered her friends, but didn't do anything because they didn't want to lose their jobs. (It's all in her memoir).
This is slightly out of left field, but I think you’ll appreciate it: Tracy Chapman singing Fast Car at Wembley in 1988. Her first major performance of the song, 600 million audience, and it subsequently rose up the charts. She sang three songs, then stood in for Stevie Wonder, whose equipment went missing, so she did two more songs including Fast Car. Total accident, and it blew up.
I keep coming back to watch this; your reaction is so honest, reminds me of myself hearing it at 19 years old when it came out, and it still gets me today! There is a live version you should check out, where she goes straight into ‘Rainbow’ like she does on the album, it’s sublime
hey jack, she cried while performed this song back in 2000 (rainbow tour). its always breaks my heart seeing her crying, she literally been through a lot. i really wanna hug her cause she is a strong woman till this day. keep on going bro! i always support you!

Dandelion is her sister Allison, Patriarch is Tommy, little brother & little sister Tommy’s kids, “so many closest to me turned on a dime and sold me out dutifully,” is Walter A. Also, there’s technically no Chorus on this 💜
When she mentions about the knife chipping away at her. Tommy her ex husband held a butter knife to her cheek when she basically told him she was leaving him. And he did this in front of men colleagues slash buddies. Who did nothing and went home to sleep like nothing happened. All this has been broken down and explained in her memoir. It was def a tough read.

My favorite from the Rainbow album. This song is mostly about her sister. Mariah has had a not so pleasant relationship with her for many years, that's why I really feel this song. And even now so distant from her brother now, it hurts.

When she says “Dandelion” she’s talking about her sister that is a drug addict. When she’s talking about “little sis and little brother” she’s talking about her ex husband’s kids. When she says “I miss you valentine” she’s talking about her ex husband Tommy Mattola
When she was 2 her parents divorced and she lived with her mother. Her siblings lived with their dad. So she wasn't close with her dad growing up. So yea, predictibly she was drawn to a MUCH older man early in life. One who had given her guidance in her career, but wound up trying to control her every move, especially since she made him so much money.

The second verse was for her then husband who she met at age 19 he was married to this other woman and had two kids with that woman but when he divorced that woman he proposed to mariah carey and they married in 1993 but in the magazine you can see Mariah ran out of her own marriage crying but returned to the alter didn't even know that she had made one huge mistake he started controlling her and didn't want any kids with her and he didn't want her to go anywhere without bodyguards around plus he didn't want her to do a crossover which she finally had enough with him in 1996 and broke from his controllings and divorced him but not the was still owning Columbia records and they fired him and they had to let her go in late 2000 due to the fact that she was married to him from 1993-1997 plus she was signed by him and oh the guy who was in the Santa suit in the original all I want for Christmas is you music video was him

A lot of the people she worked with and thought were her real friends would abandon her in favour of Tommy or spy on her and report back to him so he could keep tabs on her and keep controlling her life - Walter Affanasief, Cory Rooney, Gloria Estefan, Diane Martel (This is my own take btw, Mariah has neither confirmed or denied or ever been specific about naming any one person in any of her songs, for obvious reasons)
Petals is such an anthem for many of us because we're kids who grew up without both of our parents for one reason or another and the negative affect that can pose to one's self-image and sense of self-worth.
I love your vocabulary. Reminds me of Mariah’s
Basically this is her spilling her family tea lol. She never talks about it in interviews, but she's not cool with most of her family, like at all. That's basically what this song is about.
PERIOD BUT WHEN IS JANET MAKING A COMEBACK ? REACT TO I DON’T WANNA CRY BY MARIAH AND TO AGAIN BY JANET 💖
Thank you so much for reacting to this masterpiece !!!!! If you want another one in the same type, react to 'Looking In' !!!! ❤❤❤❤
Just can't help starring at your lips and teeth like literally the whole video. Every time you open your mouth plus the deep voice was so magnetic.. so attractive and now subscribed✌️
Let me break it down for you from someone who's been a lamb since 1990.
"I've often wondered if there's ever been a perfect family
I've always longed for undividedness and sought stability"
- This one is easy. She's obviously talking about growing up in a biracial family and the difficulty that came with it. Her parents divorced when she was very young.
"A flower taught me how to pray
But as I grew, that flower changed
She started flaying in the wind
Like golden petals scattering"
- Flower refers to her sister Alison.
"And I miss you dandelion
And even love you
And I wish there was a way
For me to trust you
But it hurts me every time
I try to touch you"
- Dandelion is a flower. Again this refers to Alison and their estranged relationship.
But I miss you dandelion
And even love you
"I gravitated towards a patriarch so young predictably
I was resigned to spend my life within a maze of misery"
- Tommy Mottola enters in the picture. He was 20 years older when he discovered Mariah. He helped MC a lot to become a household name up until he became controlling of her career. They got married and that's when MC realized she fell into a trap.
"A boy and a girl befriended me
We're bonded through despondency
I stayed so long but finally
I fled to save my sanity
And I miss you little sis
And Little brother
And I hope you realize
I'll always love you
(Always love you)
And although you're struggling
You will recover (we're gonna make it maybe)
And I miss you little sis and little brother"
- When MC and Mottola got married, the latter had children just a little younger than MC but old enough to be her siblings.
"So many I considered
Closest to me
Turned on a dime and sold me
Out dutifully
Although that knife was chipping
Away at me
They turned their eyes away and
Went home to sleep
(Sleep) (Sleep) (Sleep)"
- After the divorce in 1997, some of MC's long time collaborators/friends chose money (Mottola) which was part of Mottola's plan to bring down MC. Walter Afanasieff started working a lot with Celine Dion while Cory Rooney helped in the making of Jennifer Lopez' music career. Both Dion and Lopez were under Sony Music as well.
"And I missed a lot of life
But I'll recover
Though I know you really like
To see me suffer
Still I wish that you and I'd
Forgive each other
'Cause I miss you, Valentine
And really loved you"
- Despite their irreconcilable differences, Carey loved, cared for and respected Mottola but....
"I really loved you
(I guess I loved you)
I tried so hard
But you drove me away
To preserve my sanity"
- .....MC obviously can no longer work under Sony Music.
"And I found the strength to break away"
- Rainbow was MC's last album under Sony and it was clear back in the day she was no longer renewing her contract with them.
Top 3 tbh.
This song always makes me cry and I'm a grown ass man
you gotta do more from her emotions album! preferably “until the end of time”. so underrated and to my knowledge no one has ever reacted to that song
I’m Brazilian and I would like to say that I’m loving your videos. I'm a big fan of Mariah and it was really cool the way you mention the quality of the lyrics of her songs
@@JackReacts904 you are doing a nice job. :) If you like to meet foreign singers, I would recommend you to listen to Deise Cipriano ruclips.net/video/bQOaOAwjhYI/видео.html she was an amazin artist
Thanks for touching this gem 💎
React to Looking In, Close My Eyes, Heavenly and Thirsty😭🖤
hi jack! im pleasantly surprised you decided to listen to this song; this is really one of mariah's most poetic musical masterpieces and i too can relate to the issues she brought up. you don't have to film a reaction for this cuz the song is very short but on the rainbow album, this song is followed by an interlude called "rainbow" and it actually concludes this song beautifully ❤
The dandelion shes referring to is her sister Allison
, who was a drug addicted and is living with HIV now.
Yeah this is her deepest song. Such a beauty!
I Stay In Love hits home for me. Hope you can listen to that and feel what i felt the first time i heard it
Jack Reacts yas 💋
This is slightly out of left field, but I think you’ll appreciate it: Tracy Chapman singing Fast Car at Wembley in 1988. Her first major performance of the song, 600 million audience, and it subsequently rose up the charts.
She sang three songs, then stood in for Stevie Wonder, whose equipment went missing, so she did two more songs including Fast Car. Total accident, and it blew up.
That song is beautiful m
I keep coming back to watch this; your reaction is so honest, reminds me of myself hearing it at 19 years old when it came out, and it still gets me today! There is a live version you should check out, where she goes straight into ‘Rainbow’ like she does on the album, it’s sublime
Jack can you react to mariah careys song runway? That song is so good
You are officially a lamb🐏♥️♥️ Do some mariah interviews. You will know her more and love her personality.♥️
Yes
Please react to Mariah Carey unplugged vision of love 1992!!!
No definition to describe my feelings. Whew!
hey jack, she cried while performed this song back in 2000 (rainbow tour). its always breaks my heart seeing her crying, she literally been through a lot. i really wanna hug her cause she is a strong woman till this day. keep on going bro! i always support you!
Jack, thank you for reacting to "Petals"- a very special and honest Mariah song and sharing with us some of your own story. Please, react to Mariah's "Till The End of Time" and "Do You Think Of Me"- amazingly beautiful songs.
Just for the balance, please react to some of her fun, feel-good, and energetic songs cause lately you've beem reacting to very deep, emotional ones (no problem with that tho 😅)
• Triumphant (ft. Rick Ross, Meek Mill)
• Up Out my Face (ft. Nicki Minaj)
• Thank God I Found You (Make It Last Remix)
PLEASE react Someday MTV unppluged. 👍🏼
Mariah is too talented ! Amazing singer and songwriter . The best . End end !
Try to listen her song LANGUISHING from memoirs of imperfect angel album ...that was very honest song she have..
I LOVE YOUR VIDEOS. You are the fucking dopest reviewer ever. Thank you. You made me feel so much better during a shitty day.
A poetic masterpiece wow 👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼
This song makes me cry every time i hear it
Same with reflection with Mariah
This song is the song that ties her whole memoir . Also my favorite jack reaction.
This is the most personal song that listen to her ive been listening for a while
Dandelion is her sister Allison, Patriarch is Tommy, little brother & little sister Tommy’s kids, “so many closest to me turned on a dime and sold me out dutifully,” is Walter A. Also, there’s technically no Chorus on this 💜
Dis always gets me crying my heart out
When she mentions about the knife chipping away at her. Tommy her ex husband held a butter knife to her cheek when she basically told him she was leaving him. And he did this in front of men colleagues slash buddies. Who did nothing and went home to sleep like nothing happened.
All this has been broken down and explained in her memoir. It was def a tough read.
Thank you for sharing this!
Thanks to react this l, this is one of my fav track of mariah songs
This is starting to be one of my fav channels. I studied music and voice for many years and once was a celebrity vocal coach. I’ve noticed your growth 100% reach out to me I’d like to give you some vocabulary and voice coaching theory on the house.
now you need to react Side Effects
Yes!!
You have such a good soul. I can tell the lyrics touched you.
And this song followed by Rainbow (Interlude) as closing for Petals, u should listen right after Petals end 🌈
Please react Mariah Carey feat Pattie LaBelle - Got To Be Real (Undubbed)
Patti is Mariah’s godmother ✨👑
This song is about her estranged sister and also Tommy Mottola
Hi jack beautiful work , now you have to listen to till the end of time .. it’s such a hard song that you barely find covers or live versions
boy, you almost cried
My favorite from the Rainbow album. This song is mostly about her sister. Mariah has had a not so pleasant relationship with her for many years, that's why I really feel this song. And even now so distant from her brother now, it hurts.
Hey Jack - sorry to keep bothering you about this even after you acknowledged me, but please don’t forget to put Mariah’s “Make it Look Good” on your list if you haven’t yet - no need to respond if you already have😊
My boy got in his feelings in this one lol definitely don’t need two parents
When she says “Dandelion” she’s talking about her sister that is a drug addict. When she’s talking about “little sis and little brother” she’s talking about her ex husband’s kids. When she says “I miss you valentine” she’s talking about her ex husband Tommy Mattola
When she was 2 her parents divorced and she lived with her mother. Her siblings lived with their dad. So she wasn't close with her dad growing up. So yea, predictibly she was drawn to a MUCH older man early in life. One who had given her guidance in her career, but wound up trying to control her every move, especially since she made him so much money.
Also, Looking In & Close My Eyes are more of her personal ones too like this one and Outside 😘
This song hits me to the core. 😭
Jack you’re so handsome 💙
Jack Reacts what’s your insta?
Insightful and really personal
Mariah, jimmy jam, and terry lewis produced this track
I repeat, I love your reactions and reviews!! It's always entertaining seeing you. Greetings from Chile. ♡🇨🇱
Do For the Record!! its a hidden gem from her!!!
Jack!!!! This song has a continuation!!!!! It's called Rainbow (Interlude)
You should react to Dreamlover (Music Video version) because there's a certain special thing in the vocals there, albeit I love her riffs and runs in the live versions 😍😍
You should go and watch her liver performace on rainbows tour, she cried, was so emotional for her, i guess...
Hey Jack, you should react to Mariah's Make it Happen Live 8 performance, one of my favourite performances from her!! - Runriah also made an appearance!
WHISPER REGISTER (as Mariah calls it)
Thank you for sharing so much ❤️
Jack, thank you for reacting to this. See I told you that her artistry shines through on this track. Likewise, I truly can relate to this and in many ways reflect struggles in my own life.
Written by: Mariah Carey, James Harris, Terry Lewis and James Wright
Keys: James Wright
Please can your next Mariah reaction be:
Close My Eyes (Track 8: Butterfly album)
This song was written over the span of 4 years. It deals with... (not gonna say, you just have to listen to it and interpret the lyrics). Yet another jewel in her singer songwriter arsenal.
Forever live performance by Mariah Carey pleaseeeeee
nice reaction, but you should've listened to the "Rainbow Interlude" that played immediately after this
The second verse was for her then husband who she met at age 19 he was married to this other woman and had two kids with that woman but when he divorced that woman he proposed to mariah carey and they married in 1993 but in the magazine you can see Mariah ran out of her own marriage crying but returned to the alter didn't even know that she had made one huge mistake he started controlling her and didn't want any kids with her and he didn't want her to go anywhere without bodyguards around plus he didn't want her to do a crossover which she finally had enough with him in 1996 and broke from his controllings and divorced him but not the was still owning Columbia records and they fired him and they had to let her go in late 2000 due to the fact that she was married to him from 1993-1997 plus she was signed by him and oh the guy who was in the Santa suit in the original all I want for Christmas is you music video was him
Valentine is Tommy.
Lovin your voice 😍😍😍
If you really want to know how janet jackson can dance, you must react to her old video of when i think of you. and there are many more of her dancing.
A masterpiece that’s all I’m going to say love the reaction jack react to a more upbeat song like migrate side effects
We’re here for you jack I love you 😘
Can you react to Bye Bye by Mariah Carey
Eddie Whitfield He should react to the Akon remix
But he would have to hear the original first
