I had a nasty disease as a baby that literally destroys your gut and can even turn them into black sludge.
I had a huge amount of intestine removed. As such I don't absorb nutrients and especially water. It is virtually impossible for me to put on weight and has left me in life long pain, huge amounts of treatment, painful procedures throughout my entire life.
As my intestine goes into failure due to age, accumulated wear and tear I can lose weight incredibly rapidly which has seen me admitted to hospital 14 times in the last 20 months - including my kidneys going into failure territory twice; 3 stints in the ICU; 3 episodes of mild sepsis; collapsing and Blood pressure so low it can't even be registered - the only reason I haven't had a massive stroke is pure luck.
And yet I'm still convinced that my type of radical surgery will be offered cosmetically at some point despite the massive life long implications.
If you look at LA now and California back in. The late 60’s / 70s the people looked naturally good looking without all the BS
Why would someone have weight loss surgery? Surely it is not too hard to just stop eating, if you are over weight? I can understand if someone is really obese, like 350lb +, and they have mental health problems, where they cant stop eating, and it is killing them, but people who are just a couple of stone over weight, and vanity is their reason to lose weight, are just too damn lazy.

I don't get it. Don't people ask their friends, relatives, neighbors, coworkers etc about a good doctor to fix their problem anymore? This sh is basic.
A friend of mine has been waiting 5 years for an operation his his knee, he cannot walk now but still has to wait as the illegals get preferential treatment.

Got to disagree to some extent propa lad. My missus got the sleeve with literally no problems. Also, the aftercare she received was 3 days in hospital and 2 in o local hotel. In the UK, you're in and out in a day. I used to have a transport contract for NHS staff and many doctors told me the aftercare there is BETTER than here. Obviously there's some dodgy docs using their ninja kitchen knives, most are spot on.

@@lythalls All facilities within our country premises are heavily regulated and people can end up in jail or pay massive fines. If your reliable source do not speak even our language it is massive waste of time even arguing with you. We used to have one of the finest medics in the world who were regularly sent to 3rd world countries for help. That is no longer the case because they left for better business outside the border and yes quality nowadays is defo not what it used to be especially with influx of refugees from Ukraine but still better than NHS in many aspects but getting to same shit do to same reasons. Note we have different type of budget for state hospitals. People are required to pay health insurace by law and cant avoid it.

After watching that film I believe even less now that it happened. I didn't know how many NASA astronauts had died in bizarre accidents beforehand then all of a sudden the stars align for a perfect landing on the moon. Too good to be true.
