*Read THIS Comment if the tutorial didn't work for you OR if you can't get your console to connect to the internet after doing the steps*
*Why isn't the tutorial working?*
Most likely it's due to your internet having IPV6 enabled on your network. To verify this you can visit test-ipv6.com, this website will check if IPV6 is present on your network. (If it is you will see an IPv6 address like this: b90e:5b1f:d90f:fd95:194b:0d0e:05aa:e973 displayed on the page) This can be disabled but it varies router to router and you will need to do your own research on what to do to resolve this issue. (I will not be held responsible if you mess anything up). If this doesn't work, it's possible your ISP or Internet Service Provider has blocked the DNS. In this case not much can be done unless you are willing to contact your ISP and see if they can help. You can also try visiting the bedrock connect Github troubleshooting page linked below for additional steps and solutions but remember this is an unofficial workaround and the steps may not work.

*Help! I did the steps in the video and my console no longer connects to the internet! What do I do?*
If you tried this video and your console is no longer able to connect to the internet because of it. PLEASE set your DNS back to Automatic In the settings of your console. This will revert any and ONLY the changes made in the video. (Again I'm not responsible if anything goes wrong).

I play Xbox and for the past few days I have been playing on added servers on my phone with my controller connected to it I tired so many videos of how but then I quit but now I finally seen this video it helped so much I tried it and as soon as I got onto Minecraft and then I got to servers I joined the hive and then it worked! :0 I am so surprised it worked I thought it would have been another one of those videos that did not work for me. But it worked this time thank you so much ✨ this helped a lot and I'm so glad I can finally play on my Xbox on the servers and add some! Thank youuuuuuuu soo muchh💅

Hey when i enter the DNS and test the internet connection on my PS4 it says that the connection failed
So the tutorial works and I can connect to the server, but after around 30 seconds or so, it disconnects me. The same thing was happening when I use the bedrock together app. Is this an issue with the server I'm joining or is something wrong on my end? The people playing on PC aren't disconnecting

On ps4 wifi thingy, it says more than primary dns and secondary dns. It says ip address, Subnet mask and default gateway

For some reason, the servers didnt pop up and i set everything the right way. I have a IPV4 enabled on my network. Great tutorial and you weren't the reason it didn't work.
I do this but it barely works and I have to restart Minecraft like 20 times to get it to work, do you know any way to make it more effective?
Unfortunately its not working for me, i have only IPV5 and did all the things you said in the video but still doesn't work, maybe its because i live in Italy so the dns is different idk

Hello there! Sorry to hear that. The server is working on my end. Most likely it is due to your network using ipv6. If that’s the case this tutorial will not work for you. To test this go to the following website: test-ipv6.com
Check the second tick where it says your ipv6 adresss. If it gives you a strand of numbers that means your network has ipv6 and the tutorial won’t work.
Do you think you could try to do a tutorial for vr minecraft?
I don’t own a vr unfortunately. Are you using PlayStation vr or something else? If you’re using bedrock on PlayStation this tutorial might work.
somebody help i still cant see the server list, i get immediatly logged into the server i choose, idk if it has to do with my Nintendo Switch settings or if it has to do with my minecraft settings send help 😭

I used to be able to do this, but after the update it became impossible with the message "Unable to connect to PSN"...
Im on ps5 and when i get into mc it says im not logged in to either Microsoft or playstation network therefore servers wont be shown
It let me change the dns but the servers aren't showing the secret server menu
