Yep that's how I would do it if I didn't need the backseats for people. Keeping it in the cab allows it to stay cool when you're running the ac and when parked you can open the rear window for fresh air and the truck is still secure. when I did this I set up a little Jackery 160 power station on the floor next to the fridge. The power station was plugged into the charging port of the truck at all times getting a charge when driving. The fridge was always plugged into the power station. when parked and car is off, that little power station would power my fridge for 6-8 hours. it's the poor mans setup that works great for weekend trips. I have kids sitting in the back so i have to keep the fridge in the truck bed.
