@@user-uz8wu5gm1u Dean became an easily angered drunk after his time in Hell, and he never grew from that. His attitude in the later seasons was the same as earlier seasons, a result of trauma. Meanwhile Sam’s trauma was completely forgotten, and his original sassy, independent and resistant personality grew into nothing more than the doormat for Dean. Dean is free to express all his emotions, but Sam was forced to lock it down. It reminds me of an abuse victim really. Dean’s attitude was more “logical” than Sam’s.
