Congrats Mike... great to see the good Dr in your collection, he is wonderful, just a really, really underrated piece from XM - I think it might be their most underrated statue. Man I just love mine - so much to look at and take in. With the added pedestal (something modern SS would not now do - or if they did would release it separately with a $250 price tag) and book it is a winner all around. Cheers.
Rob Macc You hit it right on the head Rob! He is an extremely underrated piece and character in general. I have always enjoyed his character and like that he isn't just your average everday superhero. For that reason it was an easy pickup for me and it doesn't hurt that the sculpt and conceptual designs are extremely impressive. The way they have engineered the light up feature to be easily replaceable and even included another bulb and fixture. I can go on and on and on...... I'm completely in love with it and I can't wait to review it. Nuthin but love Rob and thank you for your continued support. Later Bruh

One year and you're off to a bad ass start bro. Haha, you wanna talk about young buck. I'm only 24 and trying to make this statue business happen on a going to school/part time work budget. It's definitely teaching me the value of setting budgets and making plans. Only got a handful of pieces right now, with others being paid off as we speak. Once I get that degree and start making that degree money and get my own place, I'm going hard in the paint.

my god its gorgeous. and yor commentary gives it more impresion. where do you take money for this. i didnt buy yet any collectible. got three or four from special editions from games but this is another level. i am still living with parents and holding money for own house. but dont have enough money to afford collectibles for thousands dolars. but with every another video i want it more and more. it change my priorities. dammit :D keep posting awesome videos.

Hey Cartel. What do you think of the two new Venom statues from Sideshow and XM Studios? I have the Kotobukiya 1/6th scale Venom and the Sideshow Venom legendary scale bust, but I'm thinking of selling my Kotobukiya Venom and getting one of the two new ones. Do you like one over the other yet?
xxStorm613xx I actually like both of them for different reasons. I already have the XM version on preorder and plan on buying the SS version aswell. I'm not really a collector that limits myself to just one version if I like it I just buy both. I like the pose on the SS version a little more. I like the switch out Face sculpts and tongue on the XM version better. I have way more faith that the actual quality and execution will be superior on the XM one. Plus it's will be even more limited than SS. I guess I will have to make my final decision after I get them both in but for now XM's looks like it will be the better option when you look at all the factors. Thanks again for watching.

We literally unboxed this the other day! What are your thoughts on the golden outside layer cape like the golden part? I wasn't feeling it but it does look better up close and personal. The gold really doesn't bother me but at the same time I've always loved gold on statues just like on Iron Spiderman, Thanos and Phoenix. I wish it was actually used more often. I love it. They do have worldwide liscences but not Marvel or DC as of now. Hopefully one day.
