Thanks Joe! I was planning to only take about an hour to edit and everything but after about 8 hrs I finally finished. It definitely takes alot more time but at least it's something I can be proud to put out there. As for this mark 7 though it is absolutely beautiful Bro. I'm extremely happy with it. Hi buddy, I am liking your videos, huge fan! Real quick question, would you consider this piece to be one of XM's best? I can't afford to have all of XM's pieces, but I would like one, but not sure if I should go for this or for another. Any suggestions?
Grats on an impressive statue. Although I did not buy this IM Mk 7, I can appreciate it all the same. I just don't buy movie collectibles based off Marvel characters. Blade would be the only exception for myself if / when one is ever done. My latest XM statues are Kraven and Sandman. Sandman is easily one of the best statues from XM yet. The displayability and numerous amount of display options and presence is quite honestly...second to none. Super impressive! Anyways, grats on another XM piece and look forward to the Dr. Strange review and unboxing. I own that one as well and he too is highly impressive!
Loricstone Iron man is one of those movie characters that I don't mind buying because he has a full helmet and really blends in with comic pieces. I'm sure you know I collect primarily comic pieces so I had the same hesitations. Congrats on picking up Sandman and Dr. Strange! From what I have seen in pics and videos Sandman looks extremely impressive. The paint app looks flawless. Another plus to Sandman is you can get him right now for a steal. As for Strange talking about hitting it out of the park! They killed it! Thanks again for watching brutha!

GREAT review man! Was looking forward to your thoughts on this piece. I got mine back in August (been in storage since - moving), but I remember thinking to myself that this could the best piece in most people's collections. Really stunning in person. Both poses are great, and you are right to highlight how they change it up dramatically. I also liked your thoughts on the base; people generally seem to prefer an environmental-style base, but I agree that this works all the way (I'm also a fan of the base for XM's new Cap; might be harder to display with other pieces, but really come across like a centerpiece trophy). And you aren't alone in liking nameplates - I had people poking fun of me when I would pay extra for the EX nameplates that came with some Sideshow legendary scale busts; my dream displays were always with the nameplate sitting in front of (for instance) the Spider-Man Comiquette and Spidey legendary scale bust combo, and also the Venom com and LSB combo. Finally - also took the plunge on the Iron Man Classic . . . did I need it? No, but it looks too good to pass up.
Bro! That would be sick with the name plates like that. I think the LSB have the best ones too. I love the Gambit one probably the most out of them all but they're all pretty much fire. I was pretty bummed that the new wolf pred lsb ex isn't coming with one especially for its price. Thanks again for the support Joao and Congrats and a sick ass piece.

I really like the versatility of this piece being able to pose it two different ways. We've seen black bolt and daredevil in person that can sorta do that. We've also seen the vulture that is going to have that as well. Like I've been telling JOE XM Studios is literally killing it! I'm still waiting for XM Studios to make a piece that's "The One" for me along with Prime 1 Studios! Great review and excellent execution on the video! Looking forward to the next one! I've seen someone making a custom avengers tower to replace the current base on this one. I feel like the base is good but definitely could be better in my own opinion. The peg is a little bothersome I'm sure, We recently just got the blitzway Rocky and his peg is showing a little bit. The paint on this is just the best I've ever seen to be honestly! Then again statue is looking excellent!

Hopefully they strive to keep their QC in check and don't loose focus when it comes to that aspect of their company. I love the two pose options as well that this and other xm studios pieces offer. You feel like you are getting way more for your money. I have seen that custom base that you are talking about too. It looks really good but for me to get a custom I would have to completely hate the statue and that would warrant me to never buy the piece to begin with. There is just way to many options to buy stuff you aren't absolutely happy with. Since you aren't 100% Sold on any of their pieces what is one that you have came closest to buying? Yeah the new job will help me with this statue collecting LIFESTYLE! I'm still waiting for Iron Spiderman from XM Studios! It look so good on the concept art! Joe and I are fighting over who will get it since I always wanted the Iron Spidey from Sideshow. Would be awesome to see Prime 1 do Spiderman! I'm thinking of maybe picking up that Nightwing from Prime 1 if it will fit my Detolf! After watching the video for a second time I actually like the base a little more now. We've been talking about how we want bases in our last episode. I like XM studios bases so far they really know what they are doing. Since I am new to collecting the coins do look really AWESOME! Sad that they don't do it anymore. I hope they are watching this and bring it back! Where do you usually put your exclusive and extra parts for your statues? MisteryCT Ahhhhh!!! You've been bitten by the XM bug! I can't wait for the Iron Spiderman too. That will be an easy pickup for me. My xm preorders are super heavy right now. So heavy that it makes me think twice before ordering anything from SS. I would say that 95% of my switch out parts I keep in the box for safekeeping just so I don't accidentally knock one over and break it. Congrats on that symbiote spiderman. But better 1/4 Iron Man, that's a bold statment!? The base is really lame, and imo an Iron Man statue without light up feature is like having a Ferrari without tires!!!
I will say, for me dispite the Sideshow Mark VI Maquette is still the best 1/4 Iron Man piece on the market till date ( very balance statue; pose, base, paint application and light up feature ) the perfect Iron Man statue has yet to be made!!

This is an amazing statue, for sure. Congrats man! However I will say, for me the perfect Iron Man statue has yet to be made. As long as they will make the paint look like that and not like brushed, imperfect metal (remember that signature look in the first Iron Man when he goes on his first mission), something will always feel off in my eyes. Also one of the main issues is that the armor has so many articulation points, but statues look like one big solid piece without any separation except for painted black lines. They need to find a way to achieve an illusion of separation. I'm not a Hot Toys fanboy by any means but the huge advantage of high end action figures in the case of Iron Man is that they actually look closer to the movie. The day that perfect Iron Man statue comes out, I will have no problem paying for it.
I have to agree man! Hot toys kills it with Iron man Pieces. I actually really want to see a couple of their quarter scale iron man that they have put out. At the end of the day though I would probably never buy any hot toys. Not because they don't look great but because I would still like to be able to collect statues and be able to afford my mortgage at the same time. LOL Thanks for watching. Peace
