Today's pattern review is from one of my latest makes using Simplicity Men's Pattern 9279. I have enjoyed making this pattern and it looks great styled up as well, so I hope you like this review b/c I plan to do a lot more in the very near future!

Absolutely, do a sew along. This looks like a great pattern for the wax print fabric I’ve had for years but haven’t been bold enough to cut into.

How do I find that pattern for the drop crouch pants
@@ruthpajouhandeh8239 I used my Simplicity pattern 9043 and modified the crotch for that look.

Thankful for you. I have a harder time sewing for my husband. We both train in the gym so I try to find sleeves that have room for the guns and for pants room for the glutes and quads with a trim waist. So would love to see a pattern review for traditional workout pants. All of the manufacturers have gone with that peg leg trim Pant which isn't gonna fly for my guy. Any reviews keeping that in mind would be greatly appreciated!!

Please do a sew along! I’m new at sewing and thought I was doing ok - then came along the collar. I’m totally lost.
Can you please explain what we are supposed to do about interfacing on pattern piece #1, the front? I am stumped and I just got started. The lines for “fold line for facing” and “fold line for interfacing” have me lost since it’s not explained in directions.

I'm trying to sew the pattern with my son and we are getting tripped up on the first instruction, is there supposed to interfacing in the first step, we are having trouble reading it and of course he is disappointed in me and I in myself
I’m having the same problem! Did you ever figure it out? The pattern instructions don’t call for it but there are lines on the pattern for fold line for facing and interfacing

If you’re asking the level of difficulty I would say my Simplicity 8962 which is a sports coat/suit jacket. When it come to tailoring you could never stop learning more!
