I’m fortunate enough to own a bottle of this (the phallic edition of course) and I think the vanilla in this is absolutely gorgeous. It starts off quite gourmand and then takes a weird funky direction that reminds me of a piss covered alleyway in Soho (ahh the memories 😅). Surprisingly, I must admit that I do actually really enjoy this. It’s definitely not for everyone but it takes pride of place in my perfume cabinet. Great review as always Aaron 🦄 x
I just noticed and compared to the videos over the few months, the previous videos in the series seems like the lighting and color grading are on point. Barely any blown highlights and feels very filmesque. Don't know what your production team did but great job!

The civet in animalix sits crazy well on my skin... I have half a bottle and I'm only using it for big nights out now, not tried it's replacement carbon yet though.
I'm gutted I can't get Aaron's fruity florals any more :( 2nd formula slut (the strawberry jasmine one) and blood orange were my go to frags.. :(

I usually prefer castoreum it's more leathery and the synth one is closer to the natural, civet is tricky and to some ppl smell very pissy (not me)

I have it and have to agree. There's a nice quality to it, but quite an off putting funk simmering with it too. Not an every day scent. Needs a specific occasion.
I agree, I appreciate the marketing and final product. Well rounded smell and fits the name. The final stage is hard for me, it feels like dried saliva.
But when am I ever going to wear this? I am the only perfume collector I know. No one will understand it, it is rare that I go to fragrance related parties.

the dude knows the industry so very that the words he used are so delicate, and knowledgeable. 99% of RUclips fragrance reviewers are so uneducated, the way they describe a fragrance are limited to "so good, amazing, fantastic" and reading the note from fragrantica lol

I like this scent. I don't get sexual notes in this. On my skin it reminds me of the rubber tire smell in the now discontinued Blvgary black, although Sadinosto has better performance than BB

This scent is a nice musk with slight gourmandish touches. It definitely does not smell as bold as the marketing makes you think.

I went to a local shop last month specifically to check out Alessandro Gualtieri's stuff. Sadonaso is exactly what the video advertised. When I smelled it after having sprayed it on paper, I felt like I had made intimate contact with the inside of a stranger's well-worn vinyl jock strap. I'm not kidding, it was f*ing intense, hyper realistic, like, it took me all the way there. It's definitely a piece of art. Not sure if I'm ready to order a bottle, but I'll be going back to the store for another sniff next time I'm feeling brave or curious.

Got a test and have sprayed on my arms right now. I do get that urine stuff you mentioned. I actually like it but it is too different and animalistic to pull the trigger on this. I would wear on a sex night with some sex worker for immersion or when I go to some gay clubs out there and start filtering with trans women.
I have it. TONS of compliments with this one.

Will say this is an offensive scent. It is an animalic vanilla with a lot of musks, smells very dirty/raunchy.
I wear this one a lot and I only get really positive reception. I even give random people coming up to me to compliment with this one.
I think people misunderstand that the smell of the silliage is much different than inhaling directly from the skin. The the warmth of the musk travels further and the sharper notes fade more into the background.
Only someone that is directly touching you is going to notice The pissiness.

I can't deny, that artist's technical abilities should be magnificent, especially when he/ she must fit in the concept of the project. The whole marketing of Sadonaso is truly original and disgusting in the same time, haha.
Of course it has CUMarin also a lot of WOOD.

We picked this up as a sample, just based on the horrible the reviews. Had to see what the fuss and drama was all about based on all the "smells like piss" reviews. The BF and I just sprayed it directly on our skin... and then looked at each other and said "what the f*ck are everyone talking about.. this is AMAZING"..... We do have similar tastes, and he is much more interested (and able to pull off the more animalistic and challenging scents), but it is so beautiful off both our skins.
I am normally very quick to pick up on civet in most challenging fragrances, and don't care for it as much; however, I do not smell it at all in this. I get a mix of dirty tobacco, honey, sweet vanilla cake; and a light funky human body musk (not the descriptors I have seen - the BO, or crotch, or someone pissed their pants).
I wore the sample the next day and then came home and placed an order for 2 bottles (not the pen15 bottle lid - don't care about that)

This fragrance smacks everyone in the face when I walk by. The honey is very animalic imo. If you ever had pure honey before it has been extracted, you'll know what I mean. Maybe the civet enhances it.

Aaron felt really uncomfortable and flustered talking about the vagina fragrance.
Yet, didn't bat an eyelid when it came to talking about the penis fragrance.

I'm going to disagree with you this time (rarely happens). I've found most of what Tom Ford has done with vulgarity, and now this with the phallic, to be off putting, degrading, devoid of class. Because it's too easy. Altho I'm a straight guy, this applies to the recent vulva one as well. It's all predictable, juvenile and cheap. I'm a middle age male btw. I "get" that it works from a marketing standpoint. I just have zero respect for it.
