I just ordered this board and this will be the first time I build an entire board by myself. I'm nervous about the stabs. Does the PCB support screw in, or is it only clip in?
Screw-in and clip-in are both PCB mounted stabilisers; both use the same mounting holes on the PCB. You are probably confusing clip-in with plate-mount stabs. Plate mount stabs do clip into the plate, but are almost always called plate mount and not clip in as that term is reserved for clip-in PCB mount stabs. Clip-in PBC mount stabs just push into smaller hole on the stab cut-out (as seen in this video), screw-in stabs use a screw thorugh the smaller mouting hole to secure the stabiliser to the PCB. *This keyboard kit comes with NEO clip-ins* Screw-ins can be more secure, but whether they are depends on the quality of the clip-in stabs you are comparing them to as they can vary a lot. From what I've heard (and seen in this video) NEO clip-ins aren't the tightest, and so I would personally recommend a set of different clip-ins or screw-ins. TX, Gateron, SW-knight are some well-known stabilisers brands. Screw-ins are easier to install in my opinions, clip-ins can be a bit fiddly.
Great, the first time building keebs and you've already know about crew-in, clip-in, plate mount... things. Keep the good works, you'll become addicted to this hobby soon I warn ya 😂
@@nddung92 :) I feel like I'm already addicted. I've bought a couple pre builts and messed with a handful of different switches and keycaps already. HELP! lol

Of cource, both. You can use any pcb stabs, screw in or clip in is just the way that stabs are tightened to pcb. Screw in feels more sturdy though

@@oatmilk9918 thank you for the explanation. I appreciate it very much. Lots of terminology to learn. :)
