i think theres 2 reason why they do this is because 1) the rewards can get quite high if you play all in one go and 2) they don't want players to just play salmon run, they want people to play other gamemodes. well that's all i could think of.

I rage if I play salmon run so much that I keep getting the weapons I'm terrible with. So unless they make big changes like you can only earn a certain amount of rewards per day when salmon run is always open and that maps and weapons swap out every 2 hours, just like the regular maps, I can't see them changing the current system

Tbh I myself find it easier to deal with tri-sloshers now that they're adding new weapons every week, + all current weapons in the database are complete and just need to be released. My guess is that after a year or so, they'll revert it back to its original stats from Splatoon 1
there is already an announcement about major bug fixing and weapon adjustments, and the game will be updated after tomorrow's maintenance. they basically strengthen a lot of other weapons like rollers, blasters and chargers instead of making tri-slosher weaker
As a luna blaster main, I HATE the trislosher. No aim required, op damage and fire rate. It's impossible to beat when using another close-range weapon unless I hit him directly with the luna blaster.

i want the salmon run stage to be COMPLETELY different like the color of the ground and design . they're all basically the same
