Hello, I used wood that was available for me at home. Shared similar wood link. You can use 1/2 or 1/4 inch as per you need and availability.. hope this helps

I created 40 strings for mine. I am glad you liked it, yeah this is very easy to set, once done you can set the decor in less than 10 mins 🙂🙂
