Looks great! The color and texture matches up with the texture/color of the fender flares. If I did that it would have half a dozen bugs stuck in the paint.

Thanks for this vid! Your rig looks sick! Have a Voodoo Blue as well! I was actually just looking for a vid on rear bumper removal to get those bottom reflectors out and replacing them with smoked led turn and brake signals! Another project i'm working on is the complete DIY headlights with Demon and Angel Eye (debating led vs ballast) currently have the tried and true ballast. All other signals are led smoked so watching your vid also tempting me the 'black out' the complete bumpers and grill.

Thanks a ton. I’ve thought about replacing those reflectors on the rear bumper as well, and after getting the bumper off and seeing how everything is connected, it doesn’t seem too bad. Just will have to sort the wiring out.
I loved the silver accents when I first got the FJ in 2008, but it is definitely more modernized with the trim black. Thanks again!

You painted both bumpers... I'm just wanting to Blackout the silver wing parts, since my bumpers look good. Does the Texture of that product match the texture of the OEM bumper or is it smooth like spray paint?
As far as the front skid plate, I would get a OEM "TDR" plate to install. I also matched the skid plate with a set of RCI skid plates, with the Cat guards, on both my FJ & the GF's 4Runner. Looks great and the GF thinks extra weight made her 4Runner feel more stable.

This bed liner reminds me of the same kind of look as plasti dip, but with a little more texture. I would say if you are comparing this bed liner to the OEM plastic and looking at them under a foot away, the bed liner is a little more textured than the plastic. However if you just did the wings, from about 5 feet away it would be a match…as long as you have treaded the plastic bumper with a trim restorer or cerakote.
As far as the skid plates, i will definitely look into those! Thanks for the comment.

Those aren't bumpers. They are bumper covers.

You’re right! But “bumper covers” aren’t as clicky as “bumpers” - thanks for the click!
